Yes, my plane back to England yesterday was delayed for 7 hours, because Beijing airport has such limited de-icing equipment. The planes were lined up for hours as each one was de-iced individually, which took 30 minutes for each plane.

That's nuts, not like Beijing isn't cold every winter, though I think this was pretty early snow even for there.

Glad i'm then getting a plane to Guangzhou where temperatures are forecast to be maxing out around 30°C, in other words, perfect!

According to my wife it is still very cold, but no snow on the ground
