I haven't seen any pictures posted in this thread yet.  Others apparently have seen the links.

On a side note I will be visiting Nanning, Beihai, and Shenzhen (for work) next month.

Well I'm glad it's not just me.

I thought it was something with my computer.

Sorry guys for not keeping this up like i should have. In short i am back, have been back sense just before Christmas, it was a wonderful trip and Juan was more than i could have ever imagined, guys i could only be happier if she was here with me now. We are currently goining through the paperwork now to get it all filed and hopefully she will get her visa this year and we will be complete. I will say and for those of you going through this or have made it through this part it is tough being away from someone you love and care for so much however we waited over a year for our first meeting so we both know the next few months will be okay. Enjoy the picture guys.

Who took the photos of the two of you? Did you just grab someone passing by?

Just wondered. You see in New York if you stop someone to take a picture for you you end up running after them, they took off with your camera. I haven't tried it here in Florida but my guess is they'll do it here too?  :fi_lone_ranger:  I don't want to travel with a tripod. Last time they looked it over even though it was in plan site?

yes its true i think anywere in the usa there is a 50-50 chance you
lose your camera. but in china they are more than happy to do it for
you. some even start to direct you for the perfect shot and do some
stupid things to get you to smile on camera. ive had them ask to see
the pics to see if they did a good job for you. its amazing

Vince,

Best bet is to ask a passer-by, that doesn't look like an Olympic runner!! ....Stick to the middle aged fraternity in in the States, you won't have to run so fast, or too far!! ...haha!!
In China, never really heard of anyone pulling that scam....

Congradulations on your marrage, well there goes another one.  judgeing from all the rice grinders in the pictures, she will be more than glad to ride a decent bike when she gets here (harley), will be like riding a caddie!

Yeah, I never once felt unsure of my safety in Zhongshan or Hong Kong.  I love parks at night with all the people dancing and exercising.  I've never seen so many friendly people in my life.  I'm sold.  I definitely want to live there someday.  I'd feel pretty safe about getting a stranger to take our pictures.

Now to work on that residual income...Hmmm...
