Kids In The Hall was fairly low budget. Its a parody of Canadian/American alien abduction stories. Half the time you hear these people get abducted on TV here and they tell you that aliens took them and probed them. And its always some guy driving in a truck at night too.

I guess the alien abduction stories are different in the UK.

Fairly low budget, is an understatement...he he!!  No it was so badly done, the level of acting is what you would expect on Childrens TV....  I also think the British sense of humour is a lot more demanding than in the States. For instance, I've always failed to see anything funny or humourous in either of the best known talk shows hosted by what you call comeadians. They made such an impact on me, ...i can't even remember their names, all i can remember is one has a square shaped chin and the other one smokes cigars, and neither can tell a funny to save there life!!....Oh!! and they earn millions of dollars a year!!!!

Yeah, .....That's one of them, about as funny as having a boil on your neck. The other one is a weedy little guy, that smokes bloody great big cigars. Last i heard anything of him, it was found out he was having an affair or affairs with other women....

Jay Leno & David Lettermen.... they both suck. :icon_cool:

Leno may from time to time get a funny in where David? Never got as much as a giggle from him.

Conan O'brien has taken over the show Jay Leno had. Conan is funny. There are some things he has done that still has me laughing.

As for Kids In The Hall? I never got into it. Seemed like a wantabe Saturday Night Live show. Even SNL lost good laughs after the original cast left. The cast that followed only think they are funny.

I look at it this way. If they can make me laugh they are funny, not because the media says so. Same for music and singers and actors. The media plays them up they're "STARS"... No they're not!
