Shaun,

I didn't consider your post revealing in the slightest, you were just relaying an ongoing funny situation....

I had to think of what Peggy would think if she saw it.  Ted was right, for the first couple of days she was embarrassed though she laughed and then later began teasing me.  I really like the teasing part.  She likes have fun with our culture and language differences.  She will teach me a word and the next day I will say it to her.  She laughs a while then works with me as far a saying it.  Right now we are working on wo ah ni lo paw.  I am spelling phonetically because I do not know how to spell it.

So sorry guys, but you are missing the biggest issue we have with the language.  the four tones.  it is spelled.  w? ài n?  l?opo  ..  so learn the tones, it takes a lot of time and a keen ear.  and a heck of a lot of practice.  buzz

Thats right Rocky. I have a bit of hearing loss from work and I have great difficulty picking out the different tones.

Talking about this subject . About a month after Qing arrived here with me . I called her from Work and (different Voice of course ) ask her if MR. Dusch was at Home ? She said No , he is at Work . I then ask , what is he doing at Work ? Shouldn't he be Home and answer the Phone ? She then realized it was me and started laughing ... you tricked me ! Of course , now she will not fall for these kind of calls no more . Even using a Woman's voice . We still laugh about this one .
Her favorite line is at night when going to sleep ; I let you sleep tonight !!! How kind , I do need my Rest too . hahaha

I got an "admire" mail which was different and had a funny start:

"Congratulations to you for having been chosen from thousands of men to be my future husband. Just kidding."

Well, it is the first time I have seen a joke in these "admiration" mails.
