meteor coming up august 12,2010

the 2000 year old Perseid meteor shower will appear over China during the late evening of
August 12 and will last until the early morning of August 13. The shower will consist of about
100 meteors an hour. from inner mongolia were the best veiw will be but if the sky is clear then
it will be seen as far as Shanghia

Ted,

Just make sure you get out of the big city for the best view. If there really is 100 meteors per hour it makes for a nice show in the night sky. August 10th is a new moon so there should be no moon in the sky to contend with either.

Either Shanghai, Suzhou or Jilin at the time
