I had a question related the visa interview (I know the answer for the UK is). If I remember they ask if the questions are to be in chinese or english? is this right? Putting aside the obvious better to have it in english, what if the lady said she would be more comfortable with chinese? This way they may not be able to trick her with the english meanings. ie: when did you first meet? could mean at first (online) or in person? Any opinions?

Robert, there was something on the news tonight (UK) about getting the candidates to talk in  English for their spouse visa. only caught the last 2 minutes of what was being said
