Today, I went back to '09 on my Blog.. to read up on this wonderful Lady/Woman that went through such a heartship and having to do it all on her own pretty much. Yes, she does have a Dad/Sister.. but no Spouse/Husband to share the sorrow and happiness with. So, here I came back to an old Post.. that to this day still brings tears to my eyes reading it.

This little Gift I send, was one of the greatest thing I have ever done for a Person I have never even met. I don't want to be padding myself on the back with this, it is just something I needed to do at that time.. as I felt this Woman was about to break and I could not let this happen.. if I could help it.

Arnold, I never kept a blog. The only history I have of my Chinese adventure is in Cupid kisses, emails and QQ messages and normally I would delete those just to keep my mailbox clean. So I didn't keep a lot of history of the ladies that I met or helped but I still remember their names and their stories. I wish I had kept the letters though. I remember when Fiona and I decided to get married we both closed our accounts on CLM and later wish I hadn't because all those messages would have come in handy for the i-130 application. And I wish she had them in the event she goes for an interview. Well guess what? they are not lost, they are just not accessible. I wrote to customer service at CLM and asked how to see my old account. They re-opened my account and there it was. Just the way I left it 2 years ago. But as luck would have it there was only one message from me to her. ( I kept my mailbox tidy). AND IF YOU WANT TO READ THE MESSAGE YOU NEED TO PAY FOR ANOTHER MONTH OF SERVICE. I paid the fee and was glad to read our first message. Brought back very fond memories of our first exchange. Be aware that once you pay the fee your membership is reactivated and every living, breathing female in China between 18 and 100 is put on notice that there is fresh meat on the site. You will be barraged with dozens of letters every day proclaiming your are "the one". Please come see me, Are you in China? Send me money for a ticket and I will come see you. Are you happy, I can make you happy. Please help me find a husband. etc...
Any more after talking with a lady for a couple of days I will know if they are gold diggers or home-wrecking green card seekers.
Once I am convinced they are sincere husband seekers I just send them on to Snellgrove's website. I have sent several there. I just sent another one there a few days ago. Not a raving beauty but well anchored and sweet. She is 36, divorced, no children and works as an accountant. Her English is not great but acceptable.
