Looking for a English program for androide (Samsung)
Sylvain D:
Depending the provider anyway. But man can buy a Galaxy note unlocked for about 600 euros. Maybe less but it s a new one.
Pineau:
I saw a used one her for i think 480. But you need to go to the market every day and have the cash in hand, because they disappear fast.
Wilfred Motosue:

I have the Samsung Note too and have just got back from my first trip to China. The phone was fantastic - with my eyesight and fat fingers it is so much nicer to use than the smaller phones.
As a translator it was not too bad either. My girl had a Besta, and although I could type English on it fast enough, she struggled a little bit with the Chinese character recognition, often having to redo the characters as they weren't recognised properly. She is so patient and persevered though.
On the Note I had installed:
- Google Translate - probably the most used - for quick translation of whole sentences. It also has a conversation mode where we each speak in turn and it translates our voice. It got my English spot on most of the time, but struggled a bit with her Chinese, but at least she could edit the sentence before hitting the translate button.
- Train Chinese - good mostly for learning
- Pleco - a pretty good piece of software with 5 input methods: drawing characters with the pen or finger, selecting the character from similar characters within groups, normal keyboard, voice recognition, and camera. The camera option was cool especially for translating signs on buildings etc.
Sorry to hijaak the thread - just my opinion that the Note does all this extremely well, and if you are a big bloke like me, it's a great tool. This was the first trip away for years that I didn't take a laptop and I didn't miss it either.
Also I understand there is a difference in the Chinese versions (a slower processor) than the international ones. Also in the markets in China I saw some clones out already, a bit cheaper but I have no idea if they are any good.

Fiona got me a cool new phone a couple of days ago. It is a clone of something but I cant tell what. It is about the same size as the Samsung tab. From the back it looks like an HTC but from the front it looks like a Samsung Galaxy TAB. It is running the Android 2.2 os and I am very happy with it so far. It has dual sim cards, wifi, gps, and bluetooth. It has all the usual apps pre-loaded but It will download apps from Google market or from apps websites like 360.
The best part is the price. 1,000 RMB, no haggling. Thats 153 USD at today's rate. At that price it is a disposable phone.
