Beer Wars
shaun:
David I would like to brew my own but time prevents me from doing so. Maybe after I retire from the school system. I will be, at the end of this school year, able to retire and I'm thinking of taking it one year at a time as long as they meet my requirements.
I never developed the taste for heavy beers. I tried but just didn't like them. I don't care much for ale's but I am partial to lagers. Tried a Fosters a few months back and you're right. Yuk!!!!!!
Later in the fall a lot of the local home brewers are having a festival am I am hoping I will be able to attend.

"Cheers" back in the 1980s. Cliff explained to Norm:
"Well ya see, Norm, it's like this... A herd of buffalo can only move as fast as the slowest buffalo. And when the herd is hunted, it is the slowest and weakest ones at the back that are killed first. This natural selection is good for the herd as a whole, because the general speed and health of the whole group keeps improving by the regular killing of the weakest members.
"In much the same way, the human brain can only operate as fast as the slowest brain cells. Excessive intake of alcohol, as we know, kills brain cells. But naturally it attacks the slowest and weakest brain cells first.
In this way, regular consumption of beer eliminates the weaker brain cells, making the brain a faster and more efficient machine. That's why you always feel smarter after a few beers."
The big exception, Cliff, being Alaska's own beverly hillbilly's...the Palin family.

I am thinking it must have been the Alaska Pale Ale.
