Empress of China - Censored

(1/1)

Willy The Londoner:
This program is shown for about 2 hours every evening. This is a period costume drama and has numerous chinese woman in it and there has been so much ample cleavages shown which was so unusual for TV here.

Now it went missing for a couple of days and back it came and everything has been re-programed and out has gone the cleavages. and everyones face has become larger as they have focused more on faces and you only see the female actors from across the shoulders upwards.

Oh well at least my memory has not faded as I still remember the good old days.

Rhonald:
So, not just as in food that the Chinese culture prefers thighs & legs, that breast meat is avoided!

Pineau:
Did you see what happened in Donguan a few days ago?. There was a major roundup of  the wild chickens. Of course they were all released back into the wild the next day. A couple of friends from there tell me it is a bi-annual roundup just to keep the numbers down but it always returns to the current numbers.

Just a phase they are going through. They are not puritans by any means.

I have a still frame from a big war movie that made it to the theaters before any censors caught it.  Its a bit more than cleavage....!
