Election part 2
« on: March 24, 2017, 10:56:49 pm »
How is President Trump doing?  His promises appear to be unravelling in ways that his supporters did not visualise.

I think that those who voted for him are going through the same disallusionment as those in the UK who voted for Brexit expecting the UK to instantly leave the European Union and the curtailing of immigration from EU Countries. I think those now realise that this is not going to happen and that it is going to take more than 3 years for the UK to leave the European Union and even then the likelihood of immigration being curtailed is looking even more remote.

There is a parallel between the aspiring President and the leaders of the 'Leave Campaign' they both made promises that could not be fulfilled.

I guess the loudest of the loud will always be heard above the masses. Ignorance wins & goes forth.
http://fortune.com/worlds-greatest-leaders/ I don't see trump here... but at #48 is the mayor
of London. Interesting.

From what I have seen from afar it looks to me that Sadiq Khan, Mayor of London, is probably doing the job in a manner that outstrips those of his predecessors.

He has only been in office for a while but I can forsee him one day running for Prime Minister of the UK.
