US Form I-130 & I-130A advice

(1/1)

Gus:
Howdy all,

I am looking at the US Form I-130 & 130a. Is it advisable to fill it out myself, or does anyone recommend that I hire an immigration attorney to fill it out for me? It seems like a simple straight ahead form that I can answer and submit, yet it says if denied there is no appeal. Does that mean if I do not file correctly or miss a piece of supplemental information that is the end of the line? Help

Thanks,

Gus

I hired a laywer back in 09.

You need to talk with Robert S. He knows everything!

Gus:
Thanks Kenny

No it is  not the end of the line. You can file again. It means you loose your fee and you will need to pay another on you second attempt.

My first one was "held" asking for "evidence and proof". I didn't get denied just put on hold until  sent in more information. I think you have to make a terrible mistake or omission of something, or the discovered something in background checks before your get "DENIED"

I filled my own out and stumbled.

My son let an attorney do his and it breezed through without a hitch.

But like everyone else here knows, ask Robertt first.
