My favourite photo on the wall at home has today been replaced by my wife's choice. A giant life size poster of Mao Tse Tong. He was from Hunan same as my wife.

I won't add a picture here as I am sure you all know what he looks like!

Apart from the poster the walls have the usual array of outdated calendars.   Has anyone ever known of a Chinese person throwing away anything?

It is not just a Mao Tse Tong poster. I have been presented with a brass plaque depicting him and pottery as well. ;)

As I said he was and still is a hero to my wife. :o   :o

But I wonder what posters you all have on your walls at home. ??? ???

Will there be a Willy there? 8)  8)

Also hi to ChinaBound.   Yes your right, plus you also needed the Little Red Book although not the marriage kind. Glad to see that you are joining in with the most serious of the threads here. ::)
