Ok,
I leave in 11 days. i am trying to figure out the power stuff for laptop, electric shaver......and such.
What am I to look for on the power plug? I know I need the adapter for their plugs. Help me!!!

Check the power supply for it's voltage rating. if it's 110-240 then all you need is adaptors. I bought a whole converter kit and turned out I didnt need it. Coulda saved the $20.

For anyone that's wondering about the plug type, just get one that says Australian, China uses the same plugs at least they do in Guangzhou. Is easy to find Australian travel adapters here but there are no "Chinese" ones!
Just remember the plug type is only half the issue if you are American and your stuff uses 110v instead of 220/240v.

I got the one rated for Asia. It has the different types of plugs. I got mine off of the internet rated for about $25. Used it twice with no problems. BTW, two hotels in Beijing had two different types of plugs so get the one with multi plugs. As I said the one rated for Asia should come with different types of plugs on it.
