I am very angry here is the copy of an Email I got from the sister of the person I was supposedly Writing turns out it was a guy in the office named Leo posing as one of the girls this is bad man if they even let this post go up.....
I am the younger sister and I don't know why all the mails were rejected. The following is a message from my sister. She is now in northern China working in a restaurant and taking care of her son. She does not speak any english and does not have time to learn. She is sorry for not returning your messages and calls. Although she would like to know more about you, she feels that communication is going to be a big problem. She regrets that she is putting a stop to any future correspondence. Please accept her most sincere apology. One other thing, please do not send any mails to the the previous mailbox, all previous mails were written by the agent using my sister's name and she was never involved. My sister is an ordinary woman and not good at expressing herself. She has never intended to deceive you.
Dear Chnlove get your wallet out I demand a full refund of every single dollar I have ever spent at your website all of them even the credits for mail sent to any woman I wrote to and all replies
if this is not posted on your forums it will be posted on many other forums.
I am a retired man and have more time on my hands to spread the bad word about your company than 10 of your paid employees and I have the personal cell phone number of the guy that did it. Be thankful I am not coming to China. I am not going to be bashful for all the pain and heart ache you have caused me I want MONEY. Look at my Account look at how much I have spent multiply it by at least 50 make me happy and send me that much money. Otherwise you can count on me spreading the word starting on the 4th of July the United States independence day. And I can promise you the revenue that you will lose will be several thousand fold of what I spent Damn you people.

Sorry to hear about your situation ... but you have to differentiate between ChnLove and the rogue agency ... and then the rogue agency with a dishonest translator employee.
IMHO, ChnLove won't take any blame, they'll refer to it as an agency issue ... though they'll investigate. Hopefully, they'll charge back the agency and get you back some credits.
What is the agency number & name ???
I noticed that you posted this situation on two separate thread ... to keep comments compact, I'll delete the second thread in "Campfire".

Even if they get some money for EMFs it could be that much to make it worth it credits don't cost all that much. If I were to spend $100 worth of credits how much could they possibly get to make it worth getting caught. It just dont make sense. I guess we just sit back and see what happens. First you have the phone Nr. have you never tried to call her/him?
Second what she meant with all the mails were rejected?
Third how could you get this email, have you had her private email or she yours?
Have you contacted Chnlove and told them this story?
I hope you dont want to give up.

Jim, I have said this same thing, Doesn't make sense to me either. And like some asked, How did they send this letter to you? I don't see the translator allowing it to be sent in an EMF? Was it an email? Never mind I just reread it. You say it's an email. BUT? where you writing her in emails? and he wrote back? or was that EMF's?

I agree with Darius, those questions above need to be answer so we have a better understanding of your situation in order to comment properly.
Under the "Brotherhood List of ...." --- your agency P518 was flagged as a cautionary agency to deal with in Zhuhai --- along with P368 ( Hand In Hand Agency ). I know that it doesn't help your situation now.
There could be many explanations for his deceit ... maybe he had an EMF quota to meet ... maybe he was hoping the relationship would fizzle after a certain number of letters ... who knows but himself. We all understand your anger, let's just deal with it from here on and see how we can resolve it to your satisfaction.

Jimmy, to be honest I realized this was a setup when things got screwy after you suggested I teach your girl English lessons. This freaked him out because he knew the jig was up so to speak. I refrained from saying anything because I wasn't 100% sure. Regretfully I was dead on the money. I was scammed by P518 by a few girls/translators. That agency is serious bad news, I'de stay far away from those people. One woman would send 5 sentence emfs telling me how busy with her shop and how she wished she could write longer letters and not even send a photo. Was one of the only one's I had to actually block. It really sucks for you guys at the mercy of these dirtballs. I have 45 credits from 7 months ago that I'm not sure I'll ever use. Too much treachery as of late. But on another note my friend Sandy actually knows of 2 different friends that have met people through Chnlove and are happily married in thier new countries, America and Australia. If you guys are communicating with girls from Shenzhen and are not quite sure I could arrange to meet them to possibly meet for verification. It's terrible that it comes to this yet you guys need to be assured before investing time energy and heartache into this thing. Yes, I know it is easy for me yet this is exactly the reason I moved here to protect my own interests. In the back of my mind I knew the possibility was always there that it might not work out, which incidently it didn't. It's all good because more than enough for me in Shenzhen. Jimmy, you don't have to give up just yet. Give it some time and maybe in a month or so you can give it another go. Jimmy I went through at least 4 or 5 and none of them worked out yet I'm still determined to find my girl.

Why don't you use your spare 47 credits to write to girls that the guys on here are writing to, they can PM you with their girls ID & you can write a nice romantic letter to the lady concerned, you could even ask in the EMF if she is talking to anyone else, then the guy will have an idea if he is wasting his time & being conned or not by the reply you get? You could have a list of scammers that the guys could look at and avoid, as Chnlove is more than likely monitoring this site they might pull their heads in a bit. Think of how much pain you could save some/most of the guys like Jimmy. In fact you or someone else on here could possibly set up a PayPal type of account & they could deposit $10 into it & it won't cost a penny.:idea:

Tom it's your opinion and your relationship. Me? I would rather not take a chance writing to a woman then trying to trick her and taking a chance that when she finds out feeling you don't trust her or maybe pissing her off either way losing her for it. I couldn't live an honest life with her knowing I did this to her. But you do what you want? I have my lady and we are straight honest and "Trust" in everything and I want it that way.

Have to agree with Mike on that. We don't want to sink to the level of these snakes. I think we are much better than that. There are other ways I'm sure that don't seem so underhanded. Bottom line guys if someone is smart enough they will manage to deceive you. I'm a pretty street smart {Philadelphian} yet I was played a few times to my dismay. This is thier playing field, we can only do so much short of moving here. Guarentee if you have a plan they have a countermove for it. Just try to catch the red flags and don't let your emotions dictate your life decisions.

Vince she well & truly knows I don't trust Chnlove or the agency's & tells me she is a one man woman lol, I'll believe it when I meet her, she seems reasonably honest so far but I'll keep probing without being too obvious, I'll tell her in a joking sort of way that I might get someone else to EMF her, if she is as honest as she says she is then it shouldn't bother her, if something as small as that does then we can both move on.
I told her I would never marry a woman before I lived with her to make sure we were suitable in the house/bed & out of the house, she misunderstood me thinking I wanted to stay with her as soon as I got there & she was quite concerned but didn't dump me (I explained that it would be if I went back to see her a second time & she agreed) I don't think they are quite as delicate as some of you may think and if they are do you really want to tread on egg shells forever? Maybe it's the interpreters that give this impression in their translation (yes I know they have a different attitude to other women) But I think if you have been talking with someone for months you should be able to ask pretty much anything as by then they have no doubt told you they love you with all their heart.
Sorry for being a bit of a realist but I refuse to be conned out of my hard earned money by a scammer & if that means sending someone a fake EMF after months of communication to see what her response is then so be it.
But then again I will never put myself in a situation where I'm spending a lot of money on EMF's in the first place.

I read the whole part of your posting before it was edited. My response was because Sylvain had just been put through an emotinal ringer and I felt your posting was too harsh too soon. Man, cut him some slack.
You do make many vailed points, maybe delivered quite brutishly, thus the reference to that ancient prime mate. My posting here under this thread, however ironic it feels to me, was in defence to your comment about editing or deleting.
Oops I see Chong added to this thread and in a nutshell he explained his reasoning. Good point Chong.

What she meant by emails rejected is I was given an email address but every email I sent to it Bounced it was a yahoo address that started www. never seen that before. naturally I tried in fact it was www.libo1968.yahoo.com.cn and as far as phone numbers I had 3 the 1st one was her sisters number I was given it when I told her I needed a number in china to put on my visa app and i figured since supposedly her and the sister were room mates and a couple of girls not a lot of money so they shared a phone and then suddenly a week or so later she told me that I could call her translator and I was given his number and I did call and talk to him 3 different times seemed liked a nice enough guy but then of coarse he would right then I was given a number that no one ever answered was told it was her number but it wouldnt work because she was in northern China and it would not work up there. Hey I'm a dumb ass I fell for it I was given them all the benifit of the doubt. As far as her sending me that email last night she has had all of my contact info since about the 3rd week so I was easy to contact mine were all real.
I guess I just wanted it to be the real deal so bad I just overlooked to many things and let to many red flags go by. thats one of the things I told chnlove is that I knew all my friends would have a lot of questions and some would be embarrassing to answer because I just let to much slide had to much trust. Lets face it if I cant trust her I may as well date one of these gold diggers here in the states. and it all pretty much came to a head last night I signed up for Text2china and sent several texts to the number no one answered and actually got replys they were in chinese and I used my software to translate them and they said some pretty strange stuff. I figured it was the software translating all wacky and it was only a couple hours later I got the email from the sister. the more I think about it the more I remember that didnt look right I sent her some gifts and stuff. Yes mike I have the address if you want to check it out for me its probably the damn agency.
But then the letter from the sister looks wrong too. It said something like she may like to know me I didnt understand that because 2 lines later is when it says ending all correspondence. Its just a damn mess.
I mean this guy even added letters within the letters he sent me to my kids and the more I think about it the more I want to go to china.
Whatever you guys want to know just ask me I already look and feel so damn stupid it couldnt get much worse.
Man I bragged and built this woman up to my friends and family and my baby girls, they are at their grand parents for the summer maybe I will just talk to someone new before they get home.
And Chnlove they promote trust so I'm not gonna back off of them even an ounce. By the way did I give you all this Leo's cell number he is such a nice guy to talk to I think you all should have it 13286015286 I havent called him to tell him yet I thought I would let his agency do it with a pink slip then I'll call him in a couple weeks and tell him I just landed in Hong Kong.
I was running real low on credits and almost bought more thank goodness I dodged that one
And never piss off a guy that has nothing to lose and way to much time on his hands.

Chong, yes I may ask advise on things like money, food, weather, transport, water etc but I keep my personal love life to myself, support is great but sometimes a bit of honest advise is just as good, I honestly think you are a very nice bunch of people (maybe too nice for me) My nick name is "tell it like it is Tom"
To be honest if I came on here and said I've been talking to this wonderful girl named xxxx for 6 months but she will only talk via EMF and someone warned me to be careful I think I'd appreciate it.

Tom , if you read over Sylvain's thread, there were postings in favor ... and ... not in favor of his relationship with his lady ... so, yes, he got opinions concerning both sides of the equation. Plus, he got private messages as well. We tell it like it is also. In the end, it's his decision.
If you read my past postings, I'm just as critical as you're concerning this ChnLove process. We're here to provide as much information as possible to avoid the scam agencies & ladies. We aren't all "Pollyannas" here that think the world is perfect.
Regarding what I edited ... as Rhonald mentioned ... it wasn't the right time for Sylvain to read that remark. I admire your attitude & postings because I'm the same type of person ... but tone it down a bit.
I realize that we're off topic ... so let's concentrate on Jimmy's situation here. Sorry Jimmy !!!

Ok I'm puttin this all together in my head and it makes even less sense now. The so called sister must be hooked up with Leo how else would I have gotten her number. Because supposedly the woman I thought I was writing to was not involved at all they just used her name and profile. Or the sister could be jealous about losing her sister and room mate to a guy and just wants to break it up.
And everything combined that I sent her was worth very little what did they hope to accomplish, I was going to china in Oct did they think I wouldn't notice no one was there to meet me.

I dont know maybe wait a day if chnlove goes after him we wouldnt want to scare him off or give him time to create some type alibi but whatever you all think is fine with me if you can scare the crap out of him some way I think we all deserve a good laugh at his expense. About 8:30a his time he is on his way to work thats the time I called him.

Londoner, when I read this I was convinced it was the same girl, but alas the pix was different. But the number still seems really familiar.
I'm going back on Chnlove and sift through the old admirers to see if the agency is switching pictures after scamming a certain amount of guys in a specified time period. Will get back either way.

No, it was just another scammer. Speaking of scammers Chnlove decided to let Ping Wang GZB272161 back on there service after banning her for 6 months. This woman is drop dead gorgeous and a complete scam. They either just use her pix or she is in on it. Just recently changed profile pix and added some new ones. This person has supposedly been searching for mister right going on three years and can't seem to find him, because it is nothing but a ploy to soak lonely people. These two agencies are some of the worst of the worst, they are relentless when it comes to the game. P518 and GZB272 are some seriously bad people,watch out when dealing with this scum.

(www.libo1968.com.cn) There is no server address (name, yahoo, hotmail, etc) and No email has Http - WWW.
What I see coming about is 4 people in these relationships. A man, a woman, a sister and a translator. Is this a new way to detect falseness?
CS Ping Wang, a Fine example of a trap. How many times do I have to say if her photo looks like a cover of a magazine it's most likely is a fake.

I just got off the phone to Leo BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAH I told him I was senior detective David ? from Interpol and after explaining that Interpol was the world wide police??? that we had had many complaints from international clients & that his scamming and his agency's scamming email system was being monitored, that we had copies of every email that comes and goes from the agency & that if it does not stop immediately they can expect a visit very soon, also the Chinese police had been informed.
I also told him we had jailed 3 Chinese scammers from other agency's........ 11 minutes of him groveling and stumbling was quite good fun, haven't done it in ages, kept going on about how he needs his job and has to feed his family & that he is an honest man lol, doubt it will make any difference but it was fun.
I heard a few clicks in the background & he asked me to repeat myself but of course I refused to, I also told him that all the money from people that had been scammed should be returned, I've got more chance of growing an eleven inch dick than that happening though.

Vince, I know now yet want others to be aware. She is real though, Chnlove went as far as to send some type of document supposedly that showed she was legally divorced and that she was looking. Of course it was in Chinese, lol. She must draw a lot people in I imagine.

Question it before what you dont seem to understand this has all happened in a matter of only a few days. I know www is not an email address I was told she is computer illiterate now take away the www and put @ between her name and yahoo.com.cn and you have an email address and the Http crap this forum server added for us they all bounced take away the .cn got a bounce take away .com and leave . cn still bounced but that is where the email from the sister came from that suddenly works now. libo1968@yahoo.cn is now a working email address but it didnt a week ago when I tried it. Up until about a week ago when the translator got involved and the the email from the sister yesterday It was just all about exchanging lots of EMFs and me overlooking questions that didnt get answered and a few other things I shouldnt have let go by.
I have already admitted that it's mostly my fault because I wanted it to all be the real deal and be able to trust people. As far as time I posted this stuff within an hour of getting the letter from the sister.
I got another email from the sister about an hour ago and it came from supposedly libo1968@yahoo.cn but when I looked at the source it actually came from a gmail server. Anyway I hadnt read about the call that was made to leo yet. well heres what the sister wrote.
Many thanks for your e-mail. I talked my sister into terminating this relationship and now I am not too sure if I have done the right thing. I mean good for her and I always want the best for her. She is a very kind person and she deserves a better life. She has seen your picture and she thinks you are a kind person. She just worries her inability to communicate with you. If I may propose, now that you know the truth, if you want to give it a try again, I shall do my best to get my sister to learn english. I shall translate the mails between you two. Of course if you do not want to, it is perfectly understandable and I thank you for your time
I responded with thank you for the pictures I will think about it. I was sent pictures I have been asking for finally. And they look right looks like her just much older. And even if I were to be dumb enough to try her again what do they expect they will get from me. I not givin up anything more than some typing on my keyboard
This is becoming not fun anymore and I am hearing more horror stories than I am success stories. If we cant trust chnlove, the agencies or the girls it's just an expensive game.
But I know success is possible I have a friend that is married to his russian bride and they are happy people. I am just a lot more aware of the risks you take. I'm still not sure about chnlove yet, but getting together with another American woman is not going to happen.

I admit that I have had a few moans in the past about Chnlove but any gfears that I may have had are long past. I have a beautiful future wife and she has a great family - her son who is going to uni, her mom who is a great cook, her sister who runs her own wine importing business and the many friends I have made in the short whileI have been here. One of the translators of Chnlove is a friend of my lady and she is coming to dinner next week so i will pick her brains and I will be going to the agency I used to meet them.
I feel that I have been successful so far, I have a lady that did not need Translator so saved a fortune on emfs and very soon we will be joined together.

I'm going back on Chnlove and sift through the old admirers to see if the agency is switching pictures after scamming a certain amount of guys in a specified time period. Will get back either way.

No, it was just another scammer. Speaking of scammers Chnlove decided to let Ping Wang GZB272161 back on there service after banning her for 6 months. This woman is drop dead gorgeous and a complete scam. They either just use her pix or she is in on it. Just recently changed profile pix and added some new ones. This person has supposedly been searching for mister right going on three years and can't seem to find him, because it is nothing but a ploy to soak lonely people. These two agencies are some of the worst of the worst, they are relentless when it comes to the game. P518 and GZB272 are some seriously bad people,watch out when dealing with this scum.

Your right,, I really had deep feeling for her or well you know what I mean anyway i want to let the scratches heal a little, I will wait at least till I see what chnlove does about the whole thing and decide what I'm going to do at that point. Jimmy, after I had been to China a few tiimes and twice after being with Chnlove., I came home feeling pretty much as you do now, I waited for a few months and started to look again and I found my Zhou in the last place I expected to find my Chinese princess, I found her here in the States, she already had her 10 year green card so I knew that was not what she saw in me and she was already here with her daughter so that wasn't it, she said I made her laugh, my point is don't give up, just postpone, your laDY IS OUT THERE SOME WHERE AND SHE IS WAITING FOR YOU, SHE HAS WAITED THIS LONG, SHE WILL WAIT A LITTLE LONGER.

Chnlove has done their investigation let me give you the short of it.
The girl is real and and claims she loves me very much got nervous because she knows no english and has no time to learn. Also she claims she did write every letter to me that I received and after going over it all with chnlove all the letter are authentic.
There investigation of Leo the translator showed he did his job and after looking at all the letters I wrote againt the emails and the same with the letter I received all were correct and authentic
The 3 phone numbers I have are all in order now 1 belongs to the girl 1 belongs to leo and the other belongs to the sister.
The letter I received from the sister was written by the sister with no authorization from anyone it is she that made her whole story up about the false letters. tried her best to convince my girl to quit all of the nonsense and as you saw tried to get me to believe it was all false and my girl didn't even know me. So according to them it was a jealous meddling sister that caused all of and is the problem here.
And for all my trouble because chnlove understands how hard this is on a person I will be refunded a 10 whole credits.
I have attached the letter from the agency manager, and the had written letter from my girl to chnlove in chinese and the translation of that letter

Whenever I have complained to chnlove about bad agencies in the past, it has always made me laugh when the woman supposedly says what a fine and trustworthy agency it is.
It's funny in so many ways, and shows the cultural gap as well as anything else that happens around here.
Only someone with a really limited understanding of Western men would ever think that such a statement would provide any assurance whatsoever.
And probably from our side, we probably couldn't understand that it is more likely than not she actually said what was written (that the agency is fine and trustworthy). The question of whether she actually believed what she was saying, is an entirely different matter of course *laughs*

Ok I had my wife translate the letter for me.It is real close to what the translated version says.She also said the date at the bottom of the letter is right.It says July 1 2009 the 9 looks like a 7.The date at the top of the letter is Jan 1 2007 that date was written by a computer.So I'm thinking it is not part of the letter.
My wife seems to think that the lady had some coaching with the letter.Meaning that the lady was told what to write.
Huxian marriage agency is in Zhuhai in the Jida district it is above Mcdonalds.I have met the manger and a few of the translaters.It is not a good agency.If you really want to mess with them.Ask them to send you a copy of there liscence to introduce ladies to foriegn men.Last time I heard they didn't have that liscense.

There were (are) two holidays on 7/1. CPC founders day and Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Establishment Day. Whatever those mean??.

Jimmy, you are the man. I applaud you for the way you are handling this thing. Yes, an idle mind is the devil's workplace. Right now I'm in that dilemma because my full time job is off for 2 months until Sept. 1 Lately, I've been staying up all hours of the night online and watching dvds. It's great I work 12 hours a week and make around $200. and that is loads of money here. Jimmy, if you want I'll ask my friends and students if they know anybody you might be interested in you. One of my kiss up students is tracking down all the egible young late twenties girls looking for a foreign boyfriend. Check it out they are all pretty well versed in English so I might strike gold this way. Damm China has too many beautiful women here. Even when I'm out with a female friend I can't help but checking out all the other pretty women on the buses and in the streets. Guess time is on my side. Eventually I'll meet the one. Jimmy the holiday thing was bunk like you thought. I would have heard about it if there was an observed holiday.

I am sure there is more that they are finding out than they are telling us so they obviously found out something and at the same time now that they are reading us all the know is what they read they don't necessarily know what we know. We all talk thru many other avenues than just these forums

Got to thinking, we havent heard from Proteus for a little bit with all his knowledge and wisdom about what happens at ChnLove and he supposedly being a translator and hoping that he could help and understand whats going on and wonder if just maybe that he actually was a rep for ChnLove and he has gone back to fill them in on what we have been finding out through trial and error and lots of money thru our EMF's and finding out how serious that most of us are about finding ourselves a wonderful Chinese lady of our own and then when you Jimmy got this kind of a response that we have been trying to waken from ChnLove, its starting to take hold and they are actually sending people out into the field to check out these bad agencies, and beginning to take the necessary measure to clean things up and improve their image.

As it goes with Proteus , you must remember , that many of the Translator's ( especially during the Summer season ) go out of town with large Group's of Foreigner's to Tourist sight's , as part of their Job . That knowledge comes from my Beijing ( Translator friend ) . The very reason , that we missed each other by one day while I was there with my Wife . He was out with a Group in Xi'an for four day's . It's only my guess , but that is what he could be doing ?

About Holidays in China. My lady had told me about a holiday July 1st.
1st July is the birthday of Communist Party, but we don't have any holidays! and I don't think we have any special occasion for that!

Well, what can I say, the whole post is interesting and at the same time I really do not know what to do now.
The Agency P518 in Zhuhai is the agency of my girl I been writing to since almost 3,5 month, almost every 2nd day, and I will leave to Zhuhai this
upcoming tuesday the 7th. Bought tickets and got all set for the trip.
Since she can't speak english I aint got her phonenumber, just made up plans that she picks me up at the port of Zhuhai with her translater named Sophie. I will get her phonenumber (the translaters phonenumber, Sophie) to contect her when I touched ground in Hongkong to let them know what ferry I pick so they can pick me up in time. My girl looked up all the ferry schedules and stuff and also found me an hotel were I can stay at first.
The more I was reading thru this thread the more sick I feel, especially on the different quotes from you guys on that very agency. Now I am splitted in my mind, thinking if that is all real what I exchanged with my girl the past monthes (and we have really sweet letters) or if that all a game that is played with me. I am in deep love, so is she (what I can say from all the letters). Now I am thinking on what to do, if I should take the risk and travel to Zhuhai to see what's happening or if I should cancel the trip. It's really a mess, my happiness and happy feelings seems to to down on ground by now. I feel miserable That is one point I always feared building up relationships over such a distance (I am in europe, germany). I will try t think about that tomorrow, if I go thru that, if it turns out I was played I might have the chance to find some other girl there, if not I might have had a nice time in Zhuhai for 10 days.
Well, that are my 2 cents for this threat. Its a mess, for real!

There's a 50/50 chance. If your lady has looked up places for you to stay? Preparing for you to come there? It's a better chance it is all real. Take your trip, keep your eyes open. If anything we are here to help. Get all the info, you will need it. Agency phone number and address. Your ladies and the translators info also. Take it all in as a vacation. If the lady is true it's an added bonus to the trip.

Andreas , I do as Vince and Jadams suggest . Not all Girls and Translator's are bad from a flagged Agency . The one in Guangzhou , where I found my Wife had many bad wrap's about it also . Everything went as smooth as could be . I know the language barrier is a problem being on your own in a strange Country . If thing's , say .. are not what there seem to be , stay in a Hotel that is at least a four star , they will all have People there speaking English , to make it easier for you to plan nice Trip's and Sightseeing Tour's and where to find good places to eat , ect. . I myself had all that planned out , but then I met my now Wife , anyway .. I was prepared to do it on my own as well . So Heads up and start feeling good about going . Don't let your Countryman down .

Good luck Andreas. My woman lives in Zhuhai too. It seems like my second home, even though I've only visited once. I think about the streets and shops all the time. Home is where the heart is *laughs*
My woman is from an agency with a dreadful reputation too. It happens to be from Zhuhai as well. What is it with that town? *laughs*
But I speak to her regularly on the telephone and write to every second day and have visited her once already.
I think for a serious and long term relationship it is absolutely essential that you communicate outside chnlove.
If I had to start from scratch, I would still consider using chnlove, but I would explain that after some bad experiences I want to be able contact her directly, even if it is just some fumbled and mispronounced words over the telephone.
It really calms you down I think.

Andreas, my wife was at one time registered with P518 even though she lived in Fujian, and every woman in Fujian was reportedly to be after the green card only, so there are exceptions to every thing, go for it and at least have a good time, Zhuhai is a beautiful city.

Andreas, follow your heart! I haven't been on much the past month. I was one scammed by an agency in CHengdu though. My girl never got the letters. They were all sent by the translator. But after we met we had a wonderful time. I am still in contact with said lady and I am planning a return trip in Sept/Oct. The miss information was what brought as even closer.
If your lady doesn't show up (and as I read everything you have said I doubt it). Get your bearings straight. Get to the hotel. Contact the translator and your lady. If you get no response then enjoy the culture, food and surroundings.
China is a great experience. You have 10 days if anything goes wrong to make your trip a memorable one! One of the things I noticed in my 15 days in China is that there are many women that would love to practice their english. All you have to do is walk around and when you get that strange look, just smile and nod your head. They will come right up and talk with you. Maybe one might meet a very sweet girl.

My wife was registerd with this agency.It didn't go bad for me and my wife untill the agency tried to collect the outrages fees from us.And I can tell you how to deal with the agency when the time comes.You do not need to be thinking about this right now.You need to be thinking about the women the trip and yourself.
The translater was ok.The city is Beautiful.The people are great.Hell Zhuhai is my second favorite city in Asia.And my favorite city in China.We go to Zhuhai at least 2 times every trip to China.So it is well worth the trip.
Andreas do yourself a favor and your lady a favor.Remember the 24 hour rule.This lady has done nothing to you.To deserve a nasty letter.And this is all about you and the lady.NOT THE AGENCY.She is registerd with.So give her a chance give yourself a chance.you never know until you give it a try.It could really turn out to be something great.

first of all, thanx for your comments, the warm welcome and all the input to encourage me for the trip to Zhuhai. I've decied the last
night (I just slept a few hours cause of all my thoughts) to finally make that trip to Zhuhai. Even though I received another letter from my girl
this morning that she is happy to meet me. She told me she has to work that very day I arrive and her translator Sophie will get me from the port
and bring me to the hotel. There I will meet my girl later that evening to have dinner somewhere outside. She told me she can't wait to see me
and she hopes to see a fresh and energetic blue-eyed boy (LOL) (I am in my thirties) and that my trip will go well, since she concerns so much
that I could get infected by the h1n1 virus. Well, I calmed her the last days about that, that I am a strong and healthy guy and also take medication
with me (just in case). She also told me she does not hope that they put me in quarantine, means like locking me up in the hotel room for 7 days,
she could not stand that. (In former letters she asked me to maybe reschedule my my trip cause of all the virus ish), but I told her, no, the time
has come and I couldn't wait no more to see her, and even though, when the flu thing is over there might be something else (attacks or such) so deciding a trip just based on these things would probably mean I never get to meet her. I know all that trip concerns due my yearly trip to Miami, somekind like my second hometown. So I am not worried. I promised her to be very careful and also since I am a clean guy to wash my
hands regular and just keep away from people masses (Got to change flights in Shanghai to get to Hongkong). Well, as yall see, she is very

I have quiet a good feeling (again) on that trip. I am not one of them naive guys that believe all and everything, due my job (I am computer scientiest)
I am kind of realistic thinking man and mainly start to believe things when I see it. My heart is quiet different though, I can tell, since I've fallen in
love with that girl so much. So finally I decided for myself, lets see what I get or can expect, I am positive and will find out what turns out of all that.

Well, 2 more days and I am heading to Zhuhai, I feel like a little boy impatient and ready for the adventure. Also I will keep yall posted on my trip
and what turns out of all that. I'll try to give yall an impression like a diary, will take my notebook and blackberry with me. Only thing I have to find
in Zhuhai is a translation machine, since my girl and me decied to have that translator lady with us only the first 2 days or so to be more in privacy.
My girl states that her english is very basic, she could understand a very little, but overall I really don't have a headache on that. I think I'll find a way
to get that language barrier managed somehow. I told her there is also the international spoken language of love that she don't has to worry
to much:-) Maybe I should find me a translation program for my notebook (any hints are appreciated), or I might have the chance to use google for translation, it even might get funny though cause I know the different translations that could turn out, lol.
Also I hope I do not have trouble with paying by credit card over there (hotel and all that). Also I hope I get it managed to get some chinese cash
to take with me, got the strong feeling I would have to order it at the bank and it might be to late for that already. Maybe American Express Checks
will do, probably exorbitant fees by exchanging them in the hotel, well ...

Where are go going to be staying in Zhuhai ? I am living there now. What agency is your lady with? Zhuhai is agreat place - I changed up my money before I left UK. But most hotels take credit debit cards.
If you are taking a ferry from Hong Kong you will need to pay in Hong Kong Dollars. 26o HKdollars one way to Zhuhai.

Andreas , best of luck with your visit , I always have found my Besta electronic dictionary with a stylus pen to be perfect you can input in English and convert instantly to mandarin or ? and your lady can draw her figures and it converts to English .
Currency just grab a few hundred yuan at your first port of call and then use your card in a HSBC or similar ATM and make sure your card owners know where you will be or red flags will appear and you will be missing money and card , there is also a limit on withdrawls from memory 2000 yuan per 24 hours and if you are paying for anything with your card make sure your signature is a perfect match , as not 1 but up to 3 different people will check to see all match , regards Robert .

I will stay in "the 2000 year hotel", my girl arranged something there with her translator. I believe Zhuhai is great, I love the tropics so much and also did some internet research. Well I am very curious now I can tell.
I know I will have to get some cash before I go start of to China, however, maybe I have to bite the sour apple and get cash at some atm with my cc card in hongkong. If everything goes well with the timings (customs, immegrations, etc) I should be able to catch the 14:15 ferry (as my girl states).
My girl is with the P518 agency, that made me sign up here after reading this very thread that gave me quiet a headache last night. See my 1st post before as reference.
Maybe we could hook up in Zhuhai, let me know what's possible.

Thanx Maxx, I'll keep that in mind. BTW, is there any guidance/signs or whatnot at the airport that lead me to the shuttle to get to the port to catch the ferry? I have no clue how far that is anyways from the airport. Is the port nearby?

Andreas if your flight lands in Hong Kong at 14:00 you should be able to catch the ferry right there at the airport.If you are to late to catch the ferry at the airport.ANd you don't want to wate for the next ferry.You can take the bus or train,or taxi to the Macau ferry terminal.The ferry companies are on the third floor.That time of day they have ferries to Zhuhai about every hour.
The signs at the Airport are Written in English and Chinese.And it is the same at the ferry terminal.So it is no problem to get to where you need to go.If you get stuck or can't think of wich way to go.Just ask somebody.There is alot of people who speak English.At the airport.And most of the taxi drivers speak English.
If you decide to take the taxi to the ferry terminal you will want to take the red taxi.Do not take the blue taxi it is for out of the city.Somebody may ask yo if you need a taxi tell them no.Follow the signs to the taxi stand.The attendent at the taxi stand will help you get the right taxi and help the driver understand where you need to go.
When you get to the ferry terminal counter they will sell you a regular ticket.That is for the bottom deck of the ferry.If you want to sit on the top deck of the ferry that will cost you more money.Your seat number is on your ticket.If the ferry is not to full you can sit wherever you want.On the lower deck.If there is alot of people you will have to sit in your own chair.
It takes the ferry about one hour and fifteen minutes to reach Zhuhai.Have fun and good luck.Zhuhai is truly a beautiful city.

Maxx, thanx again for that info. Didn't know it was that easy. Now I also understand what my girl mentioned about the bus and taxi thing. Well, I'll land at 11:20am in Hongkong and guess I can easily pick the 14:15 ferry. I am glad I land that early so I will arrive at a decent time in Zhuhai to get ready and refreshed to meet her at evening after she returns from work. Anyways, I'll try to get a top deck ticket, if the weather is not to bad to stay outside, if it's possible, I like fresh air though.
Just saw on the news that there is terrible rain and floodings somewhere in south china, also my girl said that in her letter this morning, hopefully the the rain is not to bad and that Zhuhai is not getting flooded, I know its rain season at this time, but who needs that heavy rains anyways ... it would be a mess.
Once again, appreciate the help of you guys. Nice forum that is! I'll be back with my news on here in a few days and let yall know what I am expiriencing

If you are arriving in Hong Kong at 11:20 Am you can catch the ferry right there at the airport.I don't remember the ferry scedule but it should be posted at the ferry desk.
If you get a chance when your in Zhuhai.Take a walk on lovers road at night.Check out the new Yuan palace that place will take you all day.Another place is walking Island you can drive out to the island and walk all the way around or rent a 2 person bike and bike around it.It is about 2 Kilo meters around the island.Have your lady take you to the Gombei mall.It is a good place to do some shopping.Also there is another mall across the road.From the Gombei mall.Where most of the stuff is hand made.Right there on site.You can stand there and watch the artist work.Or you can have them make you something special.
Eather way let your lady do all the negotiating on the price.You see something you want tell your lady.She can get you a much better price.If your lady is negotiating a price and gets up and walks away.Don't worry It is all part of the game they play.Shopping and negoitiating a price is what theese ladies like to do.
Best western food in China Blue angel cafe.Everything from Hamburgers to steak.About the only thing they don't have there is good German sausage.They did have some fairly descent German beer there last time I was there.So if you get homesick for some good western food.It is a good place to go.

Maxx, sounds really great. BTW the lovers road is one thing my girl mentioned to me already. She wants to go with me there by night. Also the islands she says are one sweet thing and made me curious, she said just the right thing to have an romantic stay. About getting good deals I already heart from other people to have it figured out by the lady, so I let her do that part, surely they would rip me off, hehe.
And hey, I do not belong to these typical germans that need that Sauerkraut and Weisswurst ish in a foreign stay, hell, when I am out of europe I stay very FAR away from other germans, believe it or not. I want to have sweet 10 days with my girl, hoping everything is like I expected and wish for us and want to enjoy the chinese culture, people and also food (I love chinese food) to the fullest. My wife was registerd with this agency.It didn't go bad for me and my wife untill the agency tried to collect the outrages fees from us.And I can tell you how to deal with the agency when the time comes.You do not need to be thinking about this right now.You need to be thinking about the women the trip and yourself.
The translater was ok.The city is Beautiful.The people are great.Hell Zhuhai is my second favorite city in Asia.And my favorite city in China.We go to Zhuhai at least 2 times every trip to China.So it is well worth the trip.
Andreas do yourself a favor and your lady a favor.Remember the 24 hour rule.This lady has done nothing to you.To deserve a nasty letter.And this is all about you and the lady.NOT THE AGENCY.She is registerd with.So give her a chance give yourself a chance.you never know until you give it a try.It could really turn out to be something great.

Well, what can I say, the whole post is interesting and at the same time I really do not know what to do now.
The Agency P518 in Zhuhai is the agency of my girl I been writing to since almost 3,5 month, almost every 2nd day, and I will leave to Zhuhai this
upcoming tuesday the 7th. Bought tickets and got all set for the trip.
Since she can't speak english I aint got her phonenumber, just made up plans that she picks me up at the port of Zhuhai with her translater named Sophie. I will get her phonenumber (the translaters phonenumber, Sophie) to contect her when I touched ground in Hongkong to let them know what ferry I pick so they can pick me up in time. My girl looked up all the ferry schedules and stuff and also found me an hotel were I can stay at first.
The more I was reading thru this thread the more sick I feel, especially on the different quotes from you guys on that very agency. Now I am splitted in my mind, thinking if that is all real what I exchanged with my girl the past monthes (and we have really sweet letters) or if that all a game that is played with me. I am in deep love, so is she (what I can say from all the letters). Now I am thinking on what to do, if I should take the risk and travel to Zhuhai to see what's happening or if I should cancel the trip. It's really a mess, my happiness and happy feelings seems to to down on ground by now. I feel miserable That is one point I always feared building up relationships over such a distance (I am in europe, germany). I will try t think about that tomorrow, if I go thru that, if it turns out I was played I might have the chance to find some other girl there, if not I might have had a nice time in Zhuhai for 10 days.
Well, that are my 2 cents for this threat. Its a mess, for real!

You will probably be ok the agency has gotten their ass kicked and the translator that was at fault is gone now. You will probably get Red Carpet treatment since they are trying to get back in good graces but I am just guessing. I have been way wrong before. I posted here cause I was reading your story and I got sick after I went thru all that text .. it's a mess .. even that threat that this translator named proteus started I went thru last nite and just can't believe they play us like that ... well, I have a pretty good feeling about my girl and also about that translator, she seems the one that translates all my correspondence with me and my girl. The translater is not a man, its a lady named Sophie from that very agency, she also will pick me of the port of Zhuhai and accompany my and my girl the first few days. But maybe I could find out some news on that guy that played you. I just need to think of a smart way to not be to obvious and maybe I could ask my girl on that if I feel I could do it. like said I'll watch out not to blow up the story. Probably they would cook me for that in hot grease, LOL :-))

Well guys my lady turned into a real nag over all this for some reason. She was led to believe that I had sued her agency and was very angry about that. I did as everyone saw ask for a refund of sorts that I never got . Anyway to shorten this up she showed a side of herself that may not have come out until after the wedding otherwise so I have written the Dear Jane letter and broken the relationship off with her. And with that sister she has it wont work out for her with any american.
So Jimmy is looking again many lessons have been learned on with the search!!

What's your criteria? Since I know my translator was honest and did a good job, and the agency is outrageously expensive but honest, I thought to ask my translator if she has any profiles for others (the unattached guys) to view and see if they might want to write one. Just a thought...

Jimmy sorry to hear that brother, had a similiar experience with my ex. Crazy part is not I'm gone so she's begging and pleading to try to
make a go of it a second time. Once a fool, twice would be shame on me. Jimmy start looking for women in or around Shenzhen, if things don't work out you could hang with the shark and maybe I could line something up with you. If nothing else at least you'll get a preview of the culture. Don't sweat it there are plenty of really nice women just looking for a guy that loves them.

Jimmy, I take it that you didnt cancel your trip, and are still going, if thats the case, I agree, get in contact with CS Mike since he is on a bit of summer vacation, and am sure from what he says that he can line you up with a few ladies to check out and at the same time you will be able to enjoy the trip and have some female campionship as well, who knows, you may get poleaxed between the eyes like Irish did on his little journey over there when he met his Ling Just my 2 cents and I dont expect any change :fi_lone_ranger:
