Rhonald asked me to share some of our wedding photos so here you go.
My initial impression was wedding photos. Do we really have to do this? I have a small camera - that should do the trick.
But I must say, after dragging my feet a little, I simple decided to go with the flow.
Xiang Mei and I had a lot of fun taking the pictures. I must say, some of her shots were stunning.
As I stood by watching her take individual shots, my jaw simply dropped.
If I could - I would move the May date up!
We have always had a great time. This experience was right up there as well.
I told Xiang mei, I felt like "Little Richard" You know the rock and roll guy that has been around for ages, and some times with all the frills, and pancake, you do not know if he is coming or going.
We laugh and joke about what we are saying to each other as we were taking the pictures.
I even had a great time, wearing the King outfit. I told Xiang mei; King Great. That's is for me. She quickly reminded me that in order for me to be a King, I needed to own a country. She said King without a country is no good. We compromised on this one.
She let me know I could be King where we sleep. I said ok, I will take that deal!
Not too bad - for something in the beginning, I really did not want to do. Out of the ruins - I got me a Kingdom. So taking the photos were not too bad!

Though I was a member of ChinaLove, and she knows the owner of the Agency in Handan, we did not met at an Agency. We were introduced by a person that works with me. Yes, it felt great being King. But she reminds me, a King need to own a Country. I tell her, I am working on it!

You can get to this stage. Many of the guys here and their wives have been at this stage and more.

We simply followed the photographer's lead. The young lady did it all. We just reacted - and had a lot of fun!

I would you have to say you are a King in your own right, and she is a Queen, for you dont have to to rule a kingdom but each others hearts. I could imagine how how it was to wait for may, after wearing all the different outfits it probably put you in the frame of mind to marry right then and there. Congrats to you and your woman.

I did not know about the wardrobe either.
That is why I say - is it the the King or Little Richard.
But you do not get to chose.
The only thing you get to chose is which traditional dress you want to wear.
The lady decides on what she wants to wear, and the custom there is you match it. So if she wears pink - you guessed it - pink it is.
I am sure I could have made a fuss - but on the other-hand, I am sure it would not have been in my or your best interest. You know the dumb American thing trying to blow off our customs.
I anxiously await your turn in the barrel. Let me see how MJ's stuff look on you! :icon_biggrin:

You made one good decision, the lady. I'd bite the bullet on the wardrobe for pictures like these too. Besides I would look more like Napoleon Bonaparte in that uniform. You know the goofy looking picture they made of him with the big N on his hat. :icon_biggrin:

Yes I agree with you about Xiang mei - her heart is good as gold. I have seen that Napoleon picture. In fact the photographer saw it too and ask me to do one of those hands near the coat button posses. But you know you will get your turn. I can't wait to see you in that Napoleon outfit!
Based on my experience bitting the bullet was easy! After all - I got to be King for a day. And my beautiful soon to be wife, reminds me often - "Yes but a King must own a country." I tell her, I know, I know. I am working on it! :icon_biggrin:

I see you know about Little Richard. When Xiang mei started showing me that pink outfit, I started to run. Then I told her about this guy called Little Richard, and now we laugh about it. And yes - Long tall sally, rides again, but Little Richard, is surely one of a kind!

So , I don't know .. if you ever saw yourself as a Jack :icon_cheesygrin: ? Before those pictures, I did not even have a pink tie! Let alone get caught wearing a pink suit!! At the time I did not think much about it. Now, I say, Wow what one will do for love!

You mean they didn't give you an SD card or Disc?? They normally give you the digital format free when you purchase an album of the prints!!
Go back and see them Ted, and ask where is the Disc/SD card copy of our wedding photo's??

I would think that this is a good tip for any red socks - no matter where they come from. especially for those of us who - do not know how to wash clothes in the first place - like me for one!

Introduce your new wife to a side-by-side washer and dryer, but tell her its a "wedding gift" so we can talk to you

4 When there are no customers, you can sit on the beach with your lady under a coconut tree and watch the waves come in.
5 you can be your own immigration service.
6 no phone, bills, no junk mail, no bothers...
