So is it just me or has the official Chnlove forums really gotten bad lately?  I am starting to dislike reading and posting at the official site.
There have been some really idiotic posts there recently.  I still can't believe the monkey sex post... that one really bugged me!
I still do not know if it was just a really bad post done as a joke in poor taste, or the guy is just a complete moron!

http://www.chnlove.com/forum/topic_replies.php?topics=2348

For those who wish to see what I am talking about... but readers beware of this one!

Also how does a person, who is a native English speaker, but cannot even successfully create a literate post that other native English speakers
can understand, ever expect to win the heart and hand of a Chinese woman with no English skill what so ever, by going through a translator?
This scenario almost sounds like a Bugs Bunny/Elmer Fudd cartoon!

I hear ya.  I can see the translator's head exploding hahahaha.

I'm with you too - I like the information and comeraderie here, and I still check out the official forums to offer input, but some of the posts there lately have me wondering what these people are thinking >_<

I had a go at someone who had laid into me about a comment I made, cannot remember the post but this guy 'sung' a song and then I 'sang' one as well.  This upstart took offence, so i blatantly scolded him and told him instead of rubbishing people he should take up spelling.

I have never been a heavy poster on that forum but since I was censored I have stopped posting there altogether. What's the point when we can post here instead? It is competely useless to wait two or three days for your comment to be posted by the admin (if you are lucky) anyway.

I do remember once reading a profile from one girl on the site that got a gaff out of me. I can not remember her profile number. I think she was about 31 but she mentioned that the man had to make a minimum of $100,000 US. Maybe the hotel owner could shack up with her?

Yea I recall seeing a profile or two like that.  One I remember distinctly was on japancupid, was a strikingly good looking lady, but her profile picture was her in all designer fashion items her information explicitly said to not contact her unless you make over 100,000 USD yearly.  I stifled a giggle, but at least she's honest about her gold digging

actually... the lady was about 31.. I wonder if they are one and the same?  the wording seems about right

Boy do I hate to say it , but I'm with Vince again . The last few times I looked what was going on over there , I saw nothing going on over there . How bad it got , just aweful . The only time I sign in now is to write to my two Sister's , that's it . Hate to see it going down like this , after what they helped me with finding my Wife , but this is not my worry anymore , it's their's .

we have to make sure this forum doesn't go down the same route, afterall we want the same things here. we all like to know about scams, bad agencies and such like, but we all have something in common from wherever we live, whatever our background is,we are here to help, advise and have laugh with each other and grow together like friends.Maybe one day we should organise a brotherhood reunion?

I think she's doing a service by revealing what's on her mind.

It's like some of the sleazebags that frequent the official forum. In some ways it's good they act like complete pigs because then women of quality will know to keep away from them.

All of us need to keep in mind that withouth the official Chnlove we'de still all be all a bunch of sad sacks mooning for that woman that makes our lives special. Arnold, I know you are still posting because you care about this thing of ours. Hell, a few of my relationships did not work out on here yet I still try to keep in contact with the official forum to keep it green in my mind. Even with all the negative things come to light as of recent I believe Chnlove is the closest thing to the real deal as you get in this world. Yes, there are so wretched guys on there from time to time, but you will get that wherever you go in life. In my opinion I am not worried because guys like that can only hide thier true colors so long. I think most would be found out prior to ever getting serious with one of the ladies. As of now I do not have as much use of Chnlove because of living in country but I feel that I still should try to help the new guys reguardless of how many nimrods are presently on the site. I have not found my dream girl here yet Chnlove propelled my life in a completely new positive direction. So I was mislead I'll just have to live with it. Living here I am realizing that the Chinese are not doing this out of malice yet just to make money. Not very ethical yet it is thier way. If you can get away with it it is all good in China. The Chinese are very pragmatic and practical. Yes, some of them have taken it too far. Bottom line guys is that all of our lives got better after discovering Chnlove. I'm living my dream in China now and am not sure if I will ever move back to the states. After all how many of us have discovered our girls and wives here. We need to stay in contact with all the forums to keep a somewhat objective opinion. Each one has it's good points and it's bad points. Sift through to glean the useful while bypassing the nonsense by not responding to it. Anymore I have given up on smart aleck responses because some of the guys are outright looking for altercations on the forum, sad but true.

I feel that because of the good stuff that's been said through Chnlove, Fb and this site, this is one of the reasons I am going to move to China, apart from my lady of course, CS Mike is right in what he has said, you must gleam out the good from the bad, just like everything in life.  Hell why not take a chance... :D

Mike, that's cool I really don't have a problem with it. Whatever church it is. Just some think they are ? I don't even know what to call them? But some of the things they come up with? They have to make it up. Like they said there. "majority of people in the world do'nt believe in Christianity" It's like "WHAT!?" Christianity is prob. in every country in the world. And the thing about England?

This really has nothing to do with being Christian. It's a front they use and that's the shame.

Oh by the way is that Farmington, LI?

I made a post in the Site Suggestions part of the official Chnlove forums about a month ago.  It was only posted recently but at least it hasn't been tossed aside.  It could use some support, so if it's something you agree with, please add a comment.  http://www.chnlove.com/forum/topic_replies.php?topics=2353

Mike, yes, didn't we talk of Rochester? But you changed it to Farmington. And there are two in NY. Also a Farmingdale on LI.
I was brought up Catholic too. But the more I learned and going to other churches and even temples, I kind of stepped slowly away.

I've had to many debates on the subject. I've almost gave up unless someone riles me up. Which some do when they say something they have no idea what they are saying. How many times I heard that Catholic priests can't marry because Jesus said so? HE DID? gee, was there Catholic priests then?

In the Catholic religion at one time you prayed to the priest. They had the full control of the people this way. It goes with that saying, the more you read the more you know.

I've come to believe it's the who you are in your heart.

Mike and Vince , you two are proof how the Catholic Religion is slowly moving away from the Church . Myself included . I was brought up an Catholic , went to Church every Sunday as a youngster , but as I grow up , I felt the same way you two feel . God is not only in the Church ( it may be the house of the Lord ) , but as I see it too , Jesus lives in your Heart , when you want him to live there . When he lives in your Life , your Love for other People will show , through your Heart and through him being present in you . Like my own Step-daughter , which is Faith Baptist , told me ones that God does not hear your prayer's , unless it's in a Church and you believe in him . So all my prayer's after my Late WIfe passed away , never reached the Lord ? She told me , my prayer's never go farther then the Ceiling , because there from home instead of a Church . You know how that made me feel ? I have not seen her since , about a year and a half . I know , of what I'm blessed with , that all my prayer's were answered . So no need to tell her , what I received will tell , without word's .

Yes , exactly ! It has become to be about the Money nowaday's , instead of followship . I keep on praying at home and look into thee Book when I have time , not when somebody tell's me to do it and where to do it . You might have read , there are more and more Home-Churches now , where Family and some Friends come together at somebody's home , instead meeting at an Church . More convenient , don't have to get dressed up , nobody asking for money , same results . Have a Meal together afterward's . It's all about Love thy fellow Human Being .

Here's something funny. Not haha funny but strange funny.

After much thought (over the years) I had thought if I could do a time travel where would I go? I have chosen to go back to the time Jesus was around just to see how true everything written is.

Somehow Song and I got onto this subject. I think it was when I asked her about religion (if she had? she doesn't) but she replied with she would go back in time to see how true the writings are of some Emperor. The same thought? visiting different people but the same in wanting to know the truth of. I found that interesting. Also I did not say anything about time travel, she came up with that on her own. :)  Just goes to show the type of person she is. She wasn't going back to win a lotto?

I would say I am an atheist, but I might give that up because I can't find any profit in it. So call me agnostic instead. But Vince I also had once said that the person I would most like to meet was Jesus. Even if he was not God's son, the beliefs he had and his words of wisdom are to be admired.

if you need help with that, ..... just ask :)

I will be glad to help you talk with him also.

Mike

Well mate I always had strong beliefs as you know coming from a catholic background...........However a few years ago i lost my faith when my little baby niece was taken away through a cot death, (no medical explanation of this is available).  Anyway, the thing I could never get round my head after this was, If there is a God, why does he let people suffer? why does he let young children die? how can he let vile creature roam this world and let bad things happen to innocent people?  The holocaust is a perfect example of when he should have done something.  I am not on a soapbox to down cry anyone who believes, but I will leave you with one thought.  What would you think if it happened to you or your child or family, do you still believe.

That brings up a great point . I could have given up after my Wife of 30 years died of Cancer , but instead , it brought me closer to God than ever before , knowing that she is in a better place and she had her hands in me finding my new Wife , halfway around the Globe . You must believe , LOVE never fails / ends after Death .  That is the very reason , I am going to write a Book about all that happened to me , the road and journey I was shown to take to be happy again . All this just didn't happen out of the blue or by coincidences ? Fate / Destiny is a wonderful thing , but you must believe in it , follow it , and it will not let you down for whatever you seeking .

I had faith and lost it.

In my journey I've learned a lot about myself and life itself. I've learned that life is short, that there's a lot of things I don't understand, that I could have done a lot better than I've done, that caring about your friends, family and community is the only way to become happy, things like that.

If I thought religion was the right way for me, I would happily go that way. For the people who have chosen that way, I wish them every success and happiness.

It came up because there were a few posts in Chnlove making statements of christian chinese women. It's a discussion of what was posted. If the members post about there own beliefs? They are expressing their background so others understand there view. It's a touchy subject as politics is, but none of us have shown hostilely with another? As long as everyone is mature about it? Why not? We get to know and understand each other more.

I do not want to rain on anyones parade, but I do not think that religion is really following the original thread.  However, you are more than welcome to start a new thread to cover this topic.  While not everyone will be positive about the thread, this is a group of inclusion.  It can also spawn discussion on Christianity and Buddhism.  So please start a new thread...gets less confusing for others who are trying to get specific information.

That is just my 2 cents.

Yes, I think a new post would be best of all. I don't think that talk about religion necessarily leads to conflict. Especially when we have in mind each other's best interests, and only wish each other well. So long as the discussion is held in a respectful and considerate fashion, we should be able to talk about whatever we wish. Some people like to talk about cars, others about injuries, getting drunk, and god knows what else *laughs* and that's all fine.
