Title: 3rd Trip
Post by: Rhonald on May 28, 2009, 06:36:24 am
Is that shark meat in that bowl?

The outdoor pics are from a cemetary we went to visit. My wife Yan wishes to buy a grave marker for her foster mother. Sorry for the order of the pics - I am fumbling through resizing to post here.

Great snaps! Love the one with ducks sticking out of the bike carrier.
Looking at those makes so excited to be going back!

Rhonald , that's why on my last Trip in Feb. , I took a nice cut of Qing's Hair ( 12 inch ) with me Home . Whenever I feel like touching Qing , this is the next best thing , taped right on top of one of her Photo's in the Hallway .

Arnold what a romantic gesture :dodgy:
But I would be scared to do that - it would be a hair raising experience

Rhonald, You're lady is a beauty. She's got a great smile. Seems like one of those infectious smiles, if she's in a good mood, she'd put anyone around her in a good mood too. :icon_biggrin:

Thanks Joshua, and yes her smile brightens my day everytime she shares it with me.

I like to share a response I made to a letter of hers from after about a month of emf exchanges. I think I out did myself that night. Her paragraph was,

"Today I forgot to turn off the alarm clock and was shocked when it rang early in the morning. I stayed in bed for a while then got up. This morning, I went to buy a pan on my road to work. It¡¯s a small one with a handle and cover. In summer it¡¯s dangerous to cook fried food. I was slightly injured one month ago. Two drops of oil spattered onto my arms. It hurt so much. I hurried to my ice bag. Unfortunately, there¡¯re still some light marks that might last for months. Will you dislike it? I¡¯m a little nervous."

And my answering paragraph,

"Every wrinkle, every scar tells a story. History is written upon our bodies. By living we risk marking our bodies, but by living we become such interesting creatures with great stories to share. A plain white paper with no writing upon its surface is perfect. No scars mark its surface. It is perfection. But a plain white paper is boring, there is no story to entertain us. It is only when the paper starts bearing marks that become a story, that the paper truly becomes alive. I can't wait to see what history is written upon you. Every line and every scar is deserving a kiss since they tell me that you live. Will you allow me the pleasure to read your story? Even though I am a quick reader, I promise that I will take my time and read every one of your lines. I don't wish for perfection, I wish for you."

And I also included the one picture from her profile that captured my heart. It is still my favorite picture of her.

Rhonald , I think she must of melted right there on the spot for you . All of a sudden , she was proud of the Burn marks and couldn't wait for you to kiss them .
Some Guy's have it ... some don't .:icon_cool:

Oh and happy Father's Day. I am just home from the ball hockey tournament. We lost a nail biter 5-4 so I can relax for the rest of the day.

Happy Father's day to you Rhonald , sorry to hear you lost today , maybe it was too early for you Guy's ? But like you said , the next Game would of been the end anyway . Hehe
You know  , we all try to be Romantic one time or another in our Lifes , some do it better than other , but we are all the same at Heart when it comes to the Lady that we Love .
