Hi guys, I have just recieved my sposorship approval today. Very Happy !!! Now the application is off to Beijing...  :) :) :)

thanks Arnold, actually I am hoping for a slam dunk, which would mean she (Lan) would get the Visa without an interview.   :)

Good news Mark, Make sure your lady knows everything about you and your family , Maybe a phone interview same as my wife had when we applied for a visitors visa, Many questions will be asked, Good luck mate, Wish you both all the best, MinYing and John .

Thanks John and MinYing, yes , we will practice all the questions they might ask. I did find a list of possible questions, and also how to
compose yourself during the interview. Can ya tell, I really want her here !!!  ;D ;D ;D

You have a good embassy to deal with.  Beijing is so much faster to deal with that Hong Kong, and also, a much higher approval rate!!!

Some more good news to share. We recieved email from Beijing for the interview request for my wife on March 27. Less than 2 weeks away.
We were just chatting last night, talking about how much we miss each other and hopefully we will recieve some good news soon. Then she called me about 1 am with the happy news. I turned on my laptop, and there was the email.  :) :) :) :) :) :)

Great Mark, now practise those possible questions that are going to be asked. The better you two are prepared the less nervous she'll be. Good Luck, and may it come out all "PINK" !

Maybe we should set up a forum webcam service so that the woman can be 'interviewed' by several different members to get them used to speaking to Non Chinese strangers with different accents.

Just an idea.
