Holmes and Lolly. I did all the work.I Gathered all the information. They rewrote my bad English typed it up.And sent it to the appropriate place.11 months later my wife had her visa. They charged me 1800.00 USD.I would highly recommend them.Just for the simple reason. That they have a history with the U.S consulate in China. They know what string's to pull to get the job done.

Rewriting your bad English probably added a couple of months onto the process... :D
My gal is located in Foshan, Guangdong province. Do you know if your lawyers have connections there?

Jim I can't recommend a Chinese lawyer for you. The issue at hand if finding an American lawyer with a good track record and one that I personally can live with.
The whole issue of immigration to America has nothing to do with the Chinese government. All of the decision making is with the American consulate and USCIS. So hiring an American lawyer is crucial to this endeavor.

If I was an American...which thankfully I am not (heehee), I would use the company that Maxx suggested. They seem to have a good track record with people on this forum.

Here is a link to ratings and reviews of immigration lawyers, you can search for a lawyer here or check out the one you are thinking about using in advance!

I too highly recommend ROBERT S.!
Do not you people understand, Robert S is here to help you!
Robert has been through the Guangzhou obstacle course a few times. He knows the navigation. He knows the legalize. Instead of giving all your hard earned dollars to rich lawyers, send your money to Robert. I am sure your success immanent! AND, maybe there will be enough change left over to help pay for your next China visit.

Jim My Wife was living in Zhuhai. It's in Guangdong province. But no they don't send people to your ladies place. And help her fill out the paperwork. You do that over QQ or Skype.

John you assume way to much.

Shaun/ Mike,
"John you assume way to much." "I agree with you Shaun."
Assuming assumptions? Wow, I assume so.
What I wrote was a plug for Robert S. He deserves a lot of credit for the success of many of the married members on this forum; apparently, not all. Is that a 'safe' assumption?
Then again, safe assumptions are not safe whatsoever. They just confuse everyone else's assumptions.

Let me clear the air here a little.
Robertt S and I have had many conversations. He is a phenomenal resource and I highly recommend him. He is very knowledgeable. I would recommend him. But at this time I don't think he is for me.
My case is a little different in that I have had two failures. I need to use the big guns.
My comment to John was based of the sole comment of his, "Do not you people understand..."
The comment in of itself assumes that we do not understand.
Maxx. is it possible for you to give me a spot at the beginning of this post where I can list the people who are in the business of helping other with the immigration process? This way I can edit it as we go and keep the names at the top of the listing.

Shaun let me see what I can work out
