Occasionally I get a request from a lady friend in China to introduce her to a western man. I am not a match maker but I like to help when I can. Since this is the dating area I thought I would start a thread for single visitors to maybe connect with the opposite gender.
So if you have an old girlfriend or an unmarried friend, sister-in-law that is ready for marriage, I guess this is a place for it.

I could probably fill these pages with the women I have met who are looking for a good 'foreigner'.
I tell them that all the good ones are spoken for. There was a lot of men came to our agency site but I doubt if many of those were good as most just wanted the women to come on webcam and take their clothes off. Amongst other thing! And they expected the translator to know the words of all sorts of acts. They used to think that for their few bucks a month they could get into all sorts of perverted conversations.
No wonder these women are wary of foreign men in the first few months.

Hmmm, I have been on QQ international since about July this year and have had many "friend" requests for women looking for western partners , I have accepted a few who just want to improve their English and I am happy to help with the permission of my wife.
Willy, you say that most men just want these women to take their clothes off, In my experience over the last few months, It is the Chinese women who have sent me nude photos of themselves without me even asking or even wanting to see them nude, These women are in the 30-45 year bracket and i am very surprised that they removed their clothing being of Chinese culture, I guess that they have had the experience of the dreaded western man and think this is the way to attract a western man ????????, Last thing i ever expected was for MinYing to remove her clothing on webcam for me,, never happened and I never ask for it.
If i ever met a Chinese woman on QQ before marrying my lovely wife who was willing to remove her clothing then I think I would have had a completely turned off Chinese woman , This is the sort of thing i expect from the WESTERN WOMAN. John.

I am talking about those men who joined the agency I was running. Two emails and the majority thought they could say what the wanted to the women. Cannot speak for the wormen on QQ as that was a place I never ventured. Hmm! But maybe I will now ::)

My experience on QQ over the past few months has been the same as John. I even quit accepting QQ requests unless I know them through language site or someone else I know. It's not really what I expected to get naked photos and a few times connecting the webcam to a naked girl. With the game playing I found on ChnLove last spring and the QQ experiences being complete opposite of what I thought was traditional Chinese culture, I have actually backed off a bit on my search for a Chinese wife. I will PM my QQ if you want to pass it on to the ladies.

I started this thread here because I thought it would be a safer place for the women because the men that come here are either married to a Chinese lady or looking for one. I have asked the mods to make this thread only visible to registered members of this site. That way they can get booted if they are abusive or vulgar. I am still waiting for an answer.
I have had similar experiences on QQ. I get random friend request and sometimes after I accept I get a naked girl or photo. That's just part of life. There are horny people everywhere. It is easy enough to delete them.
Most of my QQ friends are people I know or friends of friends. Many are connections that I met when searching the dating sites. Although I am married we can still exchange emails and sometimes give advice. I also get requests for help to find a foreign husband for themselves, daughter, cousin...thus this thread. I do this with the full knowledge, and co-operation of my wife.
I was hoping that this thread would take off and the guys would start using it to connect Chinese women with western men but it seems to have gone dormant. Maybe guys are reluctant to post their connection information here in public. Perhaps it would be better if the ladies became members also so they could exchange contact information in private messages. Come on guys. Help me out here. I need some suggestions on how to make this work else delete this trhead.

Gerry , you have a good idea here . Believe me , I've try'd this route for my two "Sister's" that I'd like to find a suitable Husband for .. for some three years now . It doesn't work here for some reason ? Maybe , Guy's ( that are single here ) think of them as hand-me-downs or our cast-offs and not reallzing what they could not only be missing .. but safe themselves a lot of trouble/heataches with Fake this and Fake that .
I think most Men are stuborn in finding what they going after their own way and no one else can know better whats good for them . So .. I've given up playing Match-maker .
What this Thread concern's , I'd leave it open if it depends on me . It doesn't hurt anyone and just maybe .. just maybe ? If it work's for just one Person to help find miss right , even taking a year to do it .. it's worth it !

Spent the last 2 days modifying and translating pages on my site, so now the Chinese users should be able to navigate easily on the site now. Modified the join and search pages also adding additional fields with translations. I hope this modification will make using the site fun now instead of confusing. Arnold, I never kept a blog. The only history I have of my Chinese adventure is in Cupid kisses, emails and QQ messages and normally I would delete those just to keep my mailbox clean. So I didn't keep a lot of history of the ladies that I met or helped but I still remember their names and their stories. I wish I had kept the letters though. I remember when Fiona and I decided to get married we both closed our accounts on CLM and later wish I hadn't because all those messages would have come in handy for the i-130 application. And I wish she had them in the event she goes for an interview. Well guess what? they are not lost, they are just not accessible. I wrote to customer service at CLM and asked how to see my old account. They re-opened my account and there it was. Just the way I left it 2 years ago. But as luck would have it there was only one message from me to her. ( I kept my mailbox tidy). AND IF YOU WANT TO READ THE MESSAGE YOU NEED TO PAY FOR ANOTHER MONTH OF SERVICE. I paid the fee and was glad to read our first message. Brought back very fond memories of our first exchange. Be aware that once you pay the fee your membership is reactivated and every living, breathing female in China between 18 and 100 is put on notice that there is fresh meat on the site. You will be barraged with dozens of letters every day proclaiming your are "the one". Please come see me, Are you in China? Send me money for a ticket and I will come see you. Are you happy, I can make you happy. Please help me find a husband. etc...

I am with Gerry, Robertt. The only people I know who use proxy servers are foreign men who want to get into blocked websites when here. I cannot think of one women here who uses a proxy server.

If they manage to get through the initial screening then they usually leave on their own after discovering that all members personal contact information is not published in their profiles, they have to contact the member through the site messaging system initially and ask for that info. I do check IP's against profiles and I also have a photograph verification system available! If you have a photograph you want verified just request it on your photo page and I will start the verification process. If you want to verify another members photo just have them contact me to verify their photo. All verified photos have my profile avatar ( red Chinese ox symbol ) displayed on the photo. Just thought I'd let it be known, I've given Robert S's webpage addy to my wife, for her friends that keep asking for help finding a husband. As soon as I'm back, I'll hand it to a few guys I know. I've also got a class reunion this fall (holy $h*tb*lls, 20 years?). Two of my old friends are still single, like I was earlier this year. Plus of course, a few of the old friends are now divorced. I know two of the guys would greatly benefit from a Chinese wife. One has four whoring sisters that have frightened away any perspective women, and like Robert, he seems to think boats are supposed to go underwater...
The other that I know could benefit, he works at a power plant, it's the American equivalent of the Chinese powerstations in Handan, ie, two different 'generators' and as soon as women find out he works there, they run. even though he works in the booth at the coal side of the facility.
And here, we live less than a mile from a double-three tower unit. That would be coal and the popular thing in this part of China (glow in the dark). I figure I lived in Savannah for a couple years, the river and the beach were enough to give me any radiation poisoning I have.

I have discovered a very interesting fact concerning China, since I started my site. I hope she chooses well also. There are so many assholes out there looking to score with a Chinese woman. She is pretty clever but when in doubt she will share the bullshit sweet talk that she just received from some predator. She deserves the better than the dating websites have to offer and she does not like Chinese men. That is why I have introduced her here.

Gerry you are a good Man and it is a great feeling when someone like Lisa trust you in a way... that is life-changing for her. In a way (going what we have now) we are almost opplicated to find equally good Men for the Women-Friends we have made on are Journey. "Pay it back" with love! It almost makes you feel kind of quilty not being able to find someone good for them (like my Lily), it's saddens me. All we can do is try though, they know it and appreciate every minute of our time.

Just 20 percent of the 1.8 million single men and women who have registered at Shanghai's official matchmaking agencies have found the right person to tie the knot with.
Differences in income and education were some of the obstacles hampering the quest to find a suitable partner for life, the association overseeing the agencies said on Thursday.
Zhou Juemin, director of the city's matchmaking association, told the Shanghai Morning Post that the city is facing a "third wave" of singles, which started in 2007 and is forecast to last three to five years.
The biggest challenge is that these single men and women are difficult to match. The women will not compromise their expectations for an ideal husband, while most single men, who have been concentrating on their careers up to the age of 35 to 40, prefer women around 25, Zhou said.
Currently, the ratio of single men to single women is about 1 to 4 in Shanghai. Most of the singles are women aged from 30 to 35, according to the association.

You're right Willy. It is the same woman. She is very excited and it appears he is too. I am hands off at the moment cause I don't want to jinx anything. But I have watched it develop and it makes me feel good to the bone.
The other two ladies, I guess are being passed over because of their English skills. But they have improved and they are wonderful ladies. Professional, mature with grown children in the university.
I know another Lisa that will knock your socks off. I have known her for quite a while and her mother was a friend of Fiona's mother before she died. She Has been teetering back and forth between a new marriage with a westerner and just staying alone. I can tell she is sad and lonely and is on the verge of becoming available for dating.

I would like to add that although CLL and CLM seem to be the favorites of most men, I have found that more and more the "ladies" on CLL are turning out to be scammers or green card diggers. Its a big investment of time to check them for sincerity only to find out what they are really after. Its sad but I think I will abandon helping ladies there and let my membership expire. CLM still seems to have a fair amount of women sincerely looking for a partner for life.

No I did not throw a friend Maxx it was through. Ha ha.
The friend told me that she had a friend who was on Chnlove and of course I had a look before we met. So although Chnlove was just a very little instrumental in our meeting everything else took place without any fees or charges paid.
When the agency heard they tried to come on board but a well chosen few words soon stopped them in their tracks.

I need to get out of this business of helping ladies find Foreign husbands. Find something better to do with my free time. I had the strangest experience. But there was always a sexual overtone in her questions. I just thought it to be curiosity and left it alone and dodged the questions. (red flag)

I sat on Chnlove for months just watching the action. It didn't take long to figure out it was an ATM machine gone crazy. Seemed like a zillion admire letters. After awhile you can actually see the same letters with identical wording being passed to you from even different agencies. Never spent a nickle there. There were a many beautiful women. Photoshop enhancements were incredible and many a man has paid dearly dreaming over those photos.
Somehow I got the link to Chinese love links.com. It has been my source of leads since then. I met a girl in Urumqi who told me her Chnlove experience. I was dumbstruck to hear how much these women pay to join that service. It is over 10 thousand dollars american. If they do not find a husband then they get 70-80 percent of it back. But many letters are sent to the ladies and the woman knows nothing about these letters until the translator/manager makes the decision they have milked the guy enough or he is sincere or he is a cretin or the guy just disappears. What a setup!!!

I get a lot of interest from people on QQ that see photos of me and my wife in the USA. They want to know more about western men and the western culture. And in the end want me to find them a western husband. It is not always clear there intentions but most of the time it is simply that they want out of China or they want their kid to have a better chance in America. So of the dozens of ladies that I meet online there are few that I would recommend as "ideal" wives because of their motives. I hate to judge them so I wont. I mean, whats wrong with seeking a better life for yourself and your kids. We all have motives don't we? I cant say which are justified and which are not. But I don't feel right introducing someone here that I know does not have lifelong love and marriage as at least one of their priorities. I also don't feel comfortable introducing someone here that I have not met in person and had a chance to spend a day with. I am on the threshold of posting information on three different ladies but I am not yet sure if I will do it.
Another problem I have is when I post her contact information here I have just put her at risk of being taken advantage of by the trolls that visit here. It is less likely to happen here than on one of the dating sites but it still happens. I wish the MODs could restrict this thread to members only.
Just bear in mind that if the lady is worried about you at all she will contact me and in short order I will know everything about you and will advise her accordingly. I will also let you know that if she is smitten by your charm and decides to pursue you then I will walk away, hands off and leave you and her to fate. My job is finished.

Started in July 2010. Last new posted topic was in Aug 2013 Guess, the VIP section ran out of Drinks and Food and is now closed? Sad....
Most topics were from 2010, a few 2011, then the section fizzled out. It was a layer just below Mod level where we could ask for a wider range of input from experienced members on important topics.
Over all this site does not have the same volume as back in its hay day of 2010 -2011, thus the VIP section became a fossil of days gone by.

Still it is amazing to me that I am considered dishonest and was not asked to be a member. It casts new light on the image of what this site is all about. I mean it is what Arnold said long time honest. So you can see why it might cause an issue as far as I am concerned. It doesn't matter whether it is not defunct or not. I didn't qualify because I am considered dishonest. I don't know what I did to deserve that honor but a mod is the one who started this venture.... Just saying!

I just found out about this thread, so I want to explain a few things. First off, there is a couple of hidden areas the most members. There is the mod section, the administration section, and a VIP section. I do not remember who suggested the VIP area, but it was an attempt to keep married members from leaving the site. It was originally planned as an area we're married men could discuss issues around married life. It was a test area, and never really took off. Married guys were generally still leaving the site once their wives join them. Nobody new has been added in years because it just wasn't being used.it was never about having favorites, or holding certain members in higher regard than others.we were looking for a way to keep married guys activeley involved in our site.realistically, the section should have been closed a long time ago, but just hadn't.

Maxx, there isn't any conspiracy theory here. I only responded to what I read in Arnold's post. There were two points; longtime members and honest members. Well I'm a long time member so that led me to only one conclusion. I objected to the honest members part. I didn't know anything about that site and after Martin's explanation it made sense. I knew from previous mods that there were places where mods could talk but it didn't concern me and now that I know what the other place is or was it does not concern me. Martin's description of the site and what little Arnold said doesn't resemble the same things. You need to remember that most of us are not privy to the things you are being a global mod. So jumping to the conspiracy theory was out of order based on the knowledge that was imparted only by Arnold. That is all most of us had to work with.
I am glad to see Martin that you've given good thought to member retention. It has always bothered me that once most people get their wives home they leave the site. I'm not sure what the answer is.

Boy Guys, I did not intent to cause such an uproar with this. Yes that VIP section was created right after Irishman build us this Forum site and was used by only the us Mods and we had planned bigger things with it.. but it never took off. So it got put on the side-burner and almost forgotten. I try'd to find a use for by mentioning it with my post.
Also, by me meaning LONG-TIME members.. this is what it was set out to be used for. For the HONEST part, well this was meant for people that come and stay here and (like told by earlier posts) not be the fly-by's that cause trouble or steer thing up for their pleasure only. In a way it was just like the PM system and that did not offend anybody by Members talking to eachother (Secretly) among themselves. So there is no need to feel hurt by not being included into a section that really never took off.

If Mods want to sound off to each other, then they can do it on PM...privately.
If newbies see a VIP area that they are forbidden to use, they may feel excluded from the mainstream Forum activity.
So many good guys have dropped off the Forum, we need dome positives to bring them back and/or attract new people who are beginning this "journey".
But maybe we can have a VIP area that deals with only matters of a sexual nature.........that should attract some interest ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

That means newbies, old-timers and the walking dead are allowed into the VIP area as long as they are a registered member. I can go there and I bet you can too. But the non-registered casual visitors are not allowed in there. So I can leave my lady friends introductions here in public but move their contact information into the VIP area. Maybe that will increase membership of really interested guys.

BTW Martin or other mods. What has happened to the little dashboard that was available during a post. You know the one that allowed you to choose the font , size, insert a URL and etc. It is no longer available to me. Did it get removed or did I mistakenly turn it off somehow? The only way I can make them work is to enter them manually.

The VIP section was never an area for the moderators to discuss site issues. We have another area that is out of sight for just that purpose.

David initially I was upset by the word honest. Then I was given a definition of honest that has nothing to do with the word honest. I was told two different things as to what the site was all about. Then it opened up and I saw that neither description was necessarily accurate. Finally I am told that I shouldn't worry about it because it is no longer used. But the intent was clear. I would have been more understanding if the powers to be just came out and said we had a site that didn't work where I could talk with my personal invited friends. I'd have nothing to say about that because I can't be everyones good friend. It is understandable.
Now it is more of a wake up call for me. I talk less and less because of issues of the past. Now I see that I still talk too much. It is what it is. No more no less. Real life. Segregation is what it is all about. I simply lost sight of that fact.

Ok, the dust has settled. I think it is safe to come out again.
Allow me to introduce Mandy. I have known her since about May 2012. She lives in Guangzhou. I knew her while I was living there but we I never got a chance to meet in person. We are just QQ buddies.

In my opinion if you had been looking for a little common courtesy like you said then you wouldn't have used the word hijack. No one intended to take your thread away from its intended purpose. It was a valid concern that revealed itself on this thread, it was discussed and abandoned. The thread laid dormant for almost a year so I don't think anyone was intending on "hijacking" it. What happened, happened and it needed to be fleshed out once it was revealed. Personally I think it pissed you off and you have over reacted to it. Common courtesy would have asked people to they to stick to the subject of the thread. Just my opinion though.

I met Ella this week. My son and her were over for Christmas. I am very impressed. She is a sweet and friendly girl. She and Fiona are getting along like best friends already. talking a mile a minute in Cantonese.
I like her. she can beat us at pool . It was a great Christmas and I hope she and him can jump all the immigration hurdles without loosing faith. Hopefully she becomes part of the family in July.

It's a tragedy really but without mentioning names there was a lady that I introduces on this thread that married a year later. But the guy i hooked her up with cheated on her and ran away with a younger lady, who, when the money ran out...well you know how that goes.... Now he divorced, homeless and broke in a foreign country. And his wife, I hope takes him to the cleaners.... PM me for details.
Update: He has managed to get back to the states and is trying to force her out of the house that she has paid most of. She quit her job in china, sold her property and moved to the us and started a new life with him. This guy! how could he?

It just got worse. She is telling me that he has a lawyer and is suing her for alimony and her pension. How big a creep can this guy be? I certainly hope she gets a vicious lawyer. He sponsored her to come to the USA. He is responsible for her for the next 10 years.

He most likely found him some shyster lawyer and they are hoping to scare her into some type of agreement. I personally think he stands a snowball's chance in hell of getting either from her, especially her pension from China, unless his lawyer has some heavy weight Chinese government connections I do not see him getting one RMB of her pension. Unless the divorce laws in his state have completely reversed directions in the last few years I feel he is screwed about alimony and pension. He needs to leave her alone and move on!
P.S. The sponsorship really will not effect this case any at all because the divorce is a civil matter and the I-864 he signed is a contract between HIM and the Federal government, so a family court will not touch it! The chances of the government releasing him from that contract is essentially nill, he is on the line for that contract until either she and her daughter become citizens, or they both hand in their green
cards and return to China, or her and her daughter die or have their green cards revoked and deported.

he went to the court to apply for protection order (say what!) and was denied. Then he broken into the house.
She called the police and went to apply emergency protection order. he threatened her and she was approved and got the order.

The only advice I can give her is get a damned good lawyer. I know the marriage was not fake. I knew her for a long time when I was living in Guangzhou. there is not a bad thought ever crossed her mind. And some where I have the conversations between him and me. For heavens sake I flew to New York and met with them in their house. There was nothing fake about the marriage except his promise of fidelity.

They married at a time when I still had legs that work and we was considering flying to the US for their marriage.

Willy, yes they want to stay in America. She has become a elementary school teacher in the US and her daughter is going to college here. There is nothing left for them in China. She has sold all her property in Guangdong. She has no retirement in China as that is forfeited when you leave to immigrate to another country.
He wants to get her deported so she will not be unable to fight the divorce settlement. He reported her to the INS as faking the marriage and reported her to the IRS as hiding income.
He has already taken her money and now he wants everything else, and he will get it unless she gets angry enough to fight back. She promised me to get an Attorney on Monday. I hope it is not too late.

He guys, Patrick has worn Lisa down. She is tired, depressed and has lost a lot of work. She wants to give him everything and walk away from a house that she paid for.
She needs to finish this fight but I am unable to convince her. The court date is soon she just need to hold out and fight one last battle but she wont listen to me. Willy, I dont think there is anything that can be done now. There is a bit of good that has come to light. Lisa said that she got the house. I dont know how that happened but this is the only bit of luck she has had. He probably gave up on it when he realized he couldn't afford to keep it. I really dont know what caused it but I am glad that she is not homeless in a foreign country.

I dont know of any other settlements of the divorce but Lisa got the house.
I am not sure of her immigration status. She said he sent another letter to immigration saying that he made up the bullshit in his first letter. Dont know what to think of him. Maybe he is feeling remorse or maybe his friends let him know what and asshole he is. Maybe he is reading the posts about him here and trying to save face.
She is going to come visit us in March so I will get all caught up then.

I was watching a very interesting program on Hong Kong TV recently.
I was about business woman in certain cities - Hong Kong, Macao, and Singapore were mention, who are using a Dating site called Lunch Actually.The Asian version is based in Singapore. It is for business women to find business men.
Following interviews with those women using the site then I must admit I was a bit shocked to find that even the most demure of the young women were talking of meeting a dozen or more Chinese men with whom they admitted to having has sex with at least 50% of those that they had met.
Well having observed the number of Chinese girls who only marry the father of a child born previously then my should i been shocked.

Lisa is coming to visit with her new love. I hope this one is of better quality than Patrick. She is flying in from Delaware on the 23rd and staying for a few days. I get a chance to get caught up with what has transpired over the last 3 years.

Lisa will be here on Tuesday and we can get all caught up. Maybe get the scoop why he committed marriage suicide.
I think his brother took pity on him and brought him home. Last I knew he was a card dealer in a casino. He is a pitiful man. At 54 years of age, he has accumulated nothing in this life and has shredded the lives of two very special Chinese ladies.
I don't know how he managed to get another visa approved but he did. Managed to bring his new GF from the Philippines. Not sure if he is married her yet.
Lisa was pretty, healthy, wealthy, well educated and smart. She spoke English with a British accent. She was a catch of a lifetime but he managed to fuck it up. Maybe she was too good for him.

She wanted me to say hello to Willy and for you to know she is ok and doing well.
Spent the last two days dragging her and her new BF through the mountains of Colorado.
They are not used to the thin air and both days had to retire early from exhaustion.

If you have never been to China you must do it at least one time in your lifetime. I spent 2 years there and come home with a wonderful wife. And while I was there I made many friends and i love the memories of my time there.
