Post by: Chong on August 19, 2010, 08:18:38 pm
Can anybody recommend an English-speaking tour guide that they used in Beijing ? Cost per day ?
Also a decent reasonable priced hotel by the Great Wall or close to it ?
Thanks !

Thanks Arnold,
Am I assuming going 'dutch' on meals and who pays the fuel ?
Anybody else with a second/third option ? Anybody know a female tour guide [ it's for my sister who's more comfortable with a female ]
What about favorite hotels that anybody stayed at ?
Thanks !

Hello Chong
Thanks for leaving your note for my post , I just read your post and I can see my friend Arnold always has a kind heart as usual . If you want to find a female tour guide ,I can recommond one professional tour guide and the decent hotel in Beijing with reasonable price ,that is not a problem , if you don't mind , you can tell me the itinerary and then I can give you some suggestions and more information , if you think that is ok , then you can use . I just hope your sister will enjoy her China trip .
Good luck ! :)

Sorry to not have replied earlier. The front desk can speak english, yes, and about how far away it is from the Great Wall, well, I would say more than one hour (easily) by bus. But maybe by the way did you find another hotel and some other good advice? (about the cost per night, I don't really remember, but I can check again if still needed)
