All I need now is an armful of tattoo's and a faceful of hair and I can qualify for membership of the Hells Angels, Zhongshan Chapter. ;D ;D
Mind you my legs are fairly useless now but it this was the best 550 dollars I ever spent. Gets me out and about when I want to go and not having to rely on others.
For three days now I have been terrorising pedestrians and motorists alike. 8)
Even got a special box to hold replacement diapers. :'(

Easy there...rider! Nice to see you are starting upon a new CHAPTER in your life. I am waiting to see a new pic with you adorned in Zhongshan Chapter's crested leather jacket.

That is really Cool. How fast does it go? Can you ride it in the street?
I want one of these. Looks like yours but a tad bigger.

That one on you tube has a motor which you can hear all the time. They are are used here as taxis.
Mine is electric and without the horn you would not hear me coming! It has all you need for riding it on the road. Lights back and front, including headlight that goes on full beam or dipped. Direction indicators and the obligatory Chinese loud horn.
It has three speeds with the maximum being 28 kpm. It passes the tests for use in the Europe. as they have restrictions on speed for riding on the footpaths (sidewalk) but the low speed covers that. But of course here in China there are no such restrictions and top speed is ok along the foot paths.
I have ridden along the road AND also gone against the flow of traffic. Plus a walking stick and/or umbrella can be carried in a special place on the side of it.
The sight of a big fat foreigner riding one on the Chinese streets is attracting a lot of attention and one advantage I have is that people notice me which makes me safer. ;) Also I am attracting the attention from older Chinese people and it looks like I am a good mobile advertisement for the machine. ;D Maybe we should take up the manufacturers offer of opening a dealership in Zhongshan!

That mite not be a bad idea.

Willy I was going to suggest that you need an authentic Harley-Davidson logo along with an authentic Harley-Davidson leather hat and jacket with a little road rash on them to give you that bad-#** look but then I realized that you could have all of them made much cheaper over there. ;D

It looks like my trike turned up just in time!
For the next week or so I will be here on my own with no extended family members to help with my shopping.
M wife's eldest sister's husband died this morning. Typical Chinese male death, to much smoking and drinking. The whole extended family is taking all the cars to Hunan for the funeral etc.
I did say that I would go with them but the sister lives in a remote village in the mountains and it is about a mile or more walk up hill which would defeat me nowadays.
