For the past 6 Christmas' I have now had a typical Chinese Christmas which includes a bowl of rice washed down with a glass of water from the sparkling Pearl River.

But next year maybe something different, as every day for the past week, I have caressed the boxed up Western Oven that is awaiting to be fitted in the new home. Maybe I will be having a roasting soon. ;D  Then maybe get a roasting when my wife finds out just how much electric the oven uses! :'(

Still all this will not stop me from wishing you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

At least this year  I can celebrate with pancakes and Maple Syrup thanks to Rhonald's visit. ;D

Willy

There is a consolation though. That is all my Christmas shopping was completed in 2008 and I have not had to bother since.  ;)

All wound down now. Dinner is over and all the presents have been carried back to the bedrooms.  One of the best Christmases I can remember. Just the three of us. the dog  and cat. All cutting up, laughing and joking. Not that many gifts but the ones we got were exactly what we were wishing for. Many OMG and Squeals from the girls after opening each present and I can't remember a better time in recent years. Fiona got on the phone with relatives and Katie an I played action video games for about an hour. Fiona is wearing her perpetual smile. And Katie, it doesn't matter how grown up she is getting she is just a big kid at heart.

I am going to bed pleased and content.  Merry Christmas everyone,,,good night.

Screw it.  This is the third time I've tried to post something and it was wiped out.  The last time it kicked me off the site.

Merry Christmas again anyway.

Just joking about the medication.  Raising that many kids was a tough job. It took a lot out of me, and I am glad it is over. But everyone turn out to be responsible, contributing members of society. except Jason.  But he is just 21 y. o. , there is still hope for him.
