Title: My Physio Treatment
Post by: Willy The Londoner on September 14, 2016, 06:37:32 am
Here are two reasons why my Physio treatment has passed the 30 day mark.   8)

I look forward to the next 2 months or so. ;)

These are my physio doctors who 'manhandle' me on a daily basis. :P

Two weeks ago another doctor has joined the team of therapists.

However her English is not so good as the others.

One aspect of her therapy is to get me to lie flat on my back and to raise my butt to stretch my spine which is to help build the muscles from hips down and I have to do this ten times

Whenever we do this she always wants me to lift my butt higher and higher.

However I cannot do this as I am usually laughing away inside because with her limited English she is giving me the following instructions in what she believes is a correct translation.

Would you be able to not react when a young attractive women is say 'Up ass.  More more up ass.' :P 8)

Should I embarrass her  :-[ and point out exactly what she is saying or should I just enjoy the moments for the next couple of weeks. ::)

It might be her who is laughing. That click you hear isn't your spine, it's her phone, taking some more "ass" photos to share on WeChat. In other words, she's got your sorry ass! Hee-haw ;D

Willy,
I take it that your Chinese insurance covers the cost of this 'procedure'. How many visits?

What Chinese Insurance - like the average Chinese patient I paid for each visit. 55 x 260 rmb per visit.

I started the physio treatment in a wheelchair with my left side not working correctly. My penultimate visit this morning shows me walking unaided although for longer walks i do carry the confidence boosting walking stick.

All this followed my 11 day stay in hospital following a mini stroke. For which I also paid the going rate for each treatment, service and medicine provided.

I have no complaints about any of treatments.  If I am going to live the Chinese life then this is just part of doing that.
