Title: Mail order brides in Korea

The Koreans have a shortage of willing brides. They are turning more and mor toward foreign brides from other Asian countries. In some rual areas 30% of the brides are from another country.

I have heard this before, I believe many come from the Philippines.

My wife was telling me that many of her neighbors have gone to Vietnam to find a wife.  They can bring her back the same day.  Half the time, she doesn't even speak the language.

Vietnam sounds nice but Americans cannot go looking for wives there for obvious reasons.

Now that's not very nice Willy, do you have any idea how many Vietnamese have emigrated to the US in the last few years? The government and the bulk of people in the north of Vietnam don't care. Some of the folks down south do care but last time I heard from my 'sis' (dad adopted found her in a burned out village on a convoy run to the nearby firebase and adopted her, then her mom showed up a month before dad returned to the states) The bulk of Vietnamese people don't have any hard feelings.

Coincidentally, sis is Doctor in the Atlanta area...
