Flying into/out of Beijing airport Oct 1st

Just saw this on ChinaDaily.

The Beijing capital airport will shut down for three hours starting from 9:30 am on Oct 1 for the National Day parade, affecting some 180 flights and thousands of passengers.

Got an email from my woman today. She is flying out of Beijing (domestic, not to me :( ) on Saturday (3.oct). She wrote that she had to do security check 3 hours before departure !
