This may or may not have some to be brides torn.  It was my thought it was a good thing to have a tiger baby.  My ex mentioned many times how important it was.  I wonder if she took into consideration this superstition.

Oh shall I divorce and get married again next year?  Mid you if I suggest that to her then maybe she will become a widow this year!!!

I think it was just a ruse by those with cold feet to put of the nuptials many years ago:icon_cheesygrin::icon_cheesygrin:

It is like the more modern superstition that is used in Africa on a night out - that all Virgins are going to be cast into a burning pit the next afternoon.

No blue pill but is seems it is going to get a taste for a little Scotch now and then!!!

i havent seen a slow down in the weddings here in GZ yet this month
so i guess it all depends but like the article said many young people dont
always follow ancient superstitions

YEP!! ...things are changing fast in China these days, a lot of these silly-er superstitions are falling by the wayside, which is not a bad thing at all....

as the younger generation grows a lot of these things are going away
but it also takes away from the charm of china.

the younger generation is for a lot of new and exciting ideas from the west
and i think that will destroy the many nice things about china that makes it
a very nice place to live in and enjoy
