How does Divorce to foreigners work in China

Seems like an odd question, doesn't it?  Here I am thinking of finding an oriental woman and I am looking for the out door already?  Can anyone give me some guidance what are the financial responsibilites of a foreign man who tried to make a go of it in China and say after 3-4 years decided it just wasn't working out?  So, if you fall on your face with a Chinese woman what are you on the hook for?

ZIP !!!!!

If there are children you may get slugged with a monthly support order...last I heard it was about $5 per month.

But if she got a smart Lawyer, she may get some sort of settlement, being as the marriage was to a Western Man. But there are no formalised property/asset settlements as there is in the West.

As the person who could have answered this got banned then maybe we will never know the answer.  Unlessof course his other half chips in.
