Thanks guys.  My wife is super excited and also very nervous.  She received this as an email - nothing was sent to me (though I haven't checked my regular mail yet).  Also, our online status on the immigration website hasn't changed either.

Neil chance are you won't receive any letter for the interview, just her. Also our update on line was about a month later from her getting the interview request by mail.

But good news for the interview for the both of you. Now is the time to prepare for the interview questions.

Which is what I was planning to ask about next:  what is the timeline like following the interview?  If things go well, theoretically, could she come home with me?

May goodluck come to you all , had an interesting day yesterday at one of our must see attractions islands [ Philip Island ] , 16 hours nonstop , on the way home Sujuan had noted just how many nationalities were visiting the various places and at the last which was the nightly Penguin Parade at which there would have been over 1000 on the beach and probably 60% Asian 30% others from around the world and 10% Aussies , even Sujuan was amazed at how many of the Asians were in fact Chinese , I think she thought I had transported her back home ha ha , regards Sujuan and Robert .
