Gus, You will want to take many photos of you and her together over the entire trip with time-stamps if possible. Keep all the receipts from your trip, even the ones you can't read because they will come in very handy in the future(immigration evidence) if you and her decide to get married. I also recommend getting her an email account for future correspondence so you can print out emails to prove an ongoing and bonafide relationship. The most important things to remember is to patient and have a willingness to learn a new culture. Always double check your translations because a bad translation can wreak havoc on new relationships.
When in doubt about something just ask and someone will help you out. If you have never been to China before, you are in for a very pleasant surprise. It is one of the few places that can totally overwhelm all of your senses at once. You might as well get prepared for the questioning that will arise during your visit also, such as exes, children, salary, housing, and everything else she will want to know. You will find out very quick that most Chinese women are very upfront and blunt when money and marriage is concerned.
Good Luck and Enjoy yourself!
