Hey all...I got a message from Nik on facebook.  He is having lots of computer problems, and can't get to the group.  He asked me to let everyone know what has been going on with him.

YanFei is done with her extensive pre-visa exam & getting her 22 vaccinations.  She is then going for her interview.  I believe the interview is on the 15th.  Once that hurtle has been reached, she should have her visa in a few days after that.

I am curious, what are 22 vaccinations for? It is nessecary to get that many shots before one can go to the states?

22 Vaccinations, WTF!!! :icon_eek: are you guys in the states doing that us laowai need getting stuck like a pincushion for!!
Vaccinations needed for Ireland- a pint of Guinness, preferably several pints in fact!!

No all Chinese don't have to do all 22 vacinations.My wife had like 3 or 4.Niks wife may have never ben innoculated as a child so that is why she has all the shots.

Nik it should only take a couple of days to get the Visa but it could take as long as 2 weeks, continued good luck brother.
