The Baltimore Orioles may have held spring training in Fort Lauderdale for the last time.

The Sarasota City Commission on Wednesday narrowly approved the transfer of Ed Smith Stadium into the hands of Sarasota County, paving the way for the County Commission to finalize a tentative agreement that would take the team away from Fort Lauderdale Stadium and bring it to Florida's west coast.

They will probably knock down the stadium and put up condo's like they do every other piece of space here. Up north further they put condo's up on the road median where the east road goes north and the west road goes south? Nice to pay half mill for this?
