« on: August 12, 2009, 01:37:27 am »
Five days in prison for the author of an erotic SMS, ten days in jail and a fine of 500 yuan (50 €) for three SMS, is the new law in force in the province of Henan in central China. The aim is to resolve the growing problem of sending SMS erotic in a country which has 600 million users of mobile phones.

And the case is not isolated. Liaoning Province, northeast of China, adopted a law providing that these messages may be considered sexual harassment. In the Hebei, which surrounds Beijing, the members of the Communist Party of Shenze sending SMS with content "inappropriate" will be punished, reported for its part the People's Daily, organ of the Party.

Since July 10, officials of the Party to Shenze met 480 times to discuss the harmful effects of such messages, which raised the disbelief of a part of the public, according to the newspaper.
