Yes

All over the places. Driver sleeps in their car parked on the pavement, and people resting their head on the table at smaller resturant etc, made me want to do the same. :icon_cheesygrin:

Sleeping is one of the Chinese favourite pastimes, my better half, can doze off at anytime during the day if she has nothing else to do.  As the pictures show, some can sleep just about anywhere too. I think you'll be amazed just how many have a regular mid-day doze too. From top directors of companies to the lowest soul, ...all will try and grab a bit of doze time during the day... haha!!

I've seen this local. An Asian high school girl everyday on the bus would take a snooze. My lady said "She likes to sleep"? I'm waiting to see what she meant by this? Like most of the day? I hope not.

Mine too. Well their mother was a good sleeper? Goes to bed at 9 PM and got up a 2 PM? My daughters aren't that bad, to bed at like 1 AM and wake at 11 AM.

I saw this absolutely everywhere, in supermarkets, in malls, in train stations, public parks, just about everywhere,. I just put it down to the fact they all work incredibly long hours.

Hey when I was there I fit right in!

I had no problem sleeping in the taxi, in the air plane, wherever I could.

But I had an ulterior motive. I wanted to rest in these places so I could be well rested and ready for the night action.

It worked quite fine for me!

In my wifes hospital they give them two hour lunches so they can take a nap.  When she goes back to work while I am still here, will work out fine. lol

Some do work incredibly long hours, but most work normal type hours. It doesn't really matter they will still have a sleep given the opportunity. On day's off work they will have at least a 2 hour sleep/doze around mid-day if they have nothing else on that day. Hong Kong is similar, but they are a lot more discreet about it .... They tend to ''hide'' and sleep!! ...haha!!
