When I was in Zhuhai they had a deprtment at teh hospital named 'The Easy Clinic'  one doctor dealt with 120 patients a day - Bloody glad I did not have to go to 'The Hard Clinic'

Willy

Willy,

I guess this means that the effects of the high dosage Viagra has peaked so to speak and the point has begun to diminish dramatically.  So rather than "The Hard Clinic" one should look for "The Relaxed Clinic."

I do wonder though if reducing the mega doses of Viagra doesn't cause one to loose their minds a little.  Willy you mention that you are "Bloody glad that I did not have to go to "The Hard Clinic.""

Your approach to being on or off the drug seems a bit dramatic.

We had a visitor at work today: [attachment=1107]

He would fit in 2 hands.  He was pretty sleepy and only opened his eyes when we got close enough to touch him.

CAUGHT "RED HANDED "

from
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/asia-pacific/8400222.stm

A Chinese woman managed to enter Japan illegally by having plastic surgery to alter her fingerprints, thus fooling immigration controls, police claim.

Lin Rong, 27, had previously been deported from Japan for overstaying her visa. She was only discovered when she was arrested on separate charges.

Tokyo police said she had paid $15,000 (£9,000) to have the surgery in China.

It is Japan's first case of alleged biometric fraud, but police believe the practice may be widespread.

Japanese police suspect Chinese brokers of taking huge sums to modify fingerprints surgically.

Local media reports said Ms Lin had undergone surgery to swap the fingerprints from her right and left hands.

Skin patches on her thumbs and index fingers were removed and then re-grafted on to the matching digits of the opposite hand.

Japanese newspapers said police had noticed that Ms Lin's fingers had unnatural scars when she was arrested last month for allegedly faking a marriage to a Japanese man.

The apparent ability of illegal migration networks to break through hi-tech controls suggests that other countries who fingerprint visitors could be equally vulnerable - not least the United States, according to BBC Asia analyst Andre Vornic.

From a womans forum on the gzdanial site:

I am a girl  and I had my profile posted through an this agency on Chnlove, a website said to be professional in Chinese dating and marriage. I did receive several notes expressing admiration and started communicating with several of them. I have a full-time job and also have to pay for the housing mortgage. Last month, I caught a bad cold and could not reply one letter in time. To my great astonishment, the man complained me and the agency which submitted my profile and doubted my authenticity and sincerity. Later on, he even put me into his block list, which made me feel quite disappointed and angry. I am only a girl, I have my own career and I have to pay for the housing mortgage. I always feel tired and that's why I want to find a soul mate who can comfort me and with whom I can share my happiness and sadness. But the man didn't believe me at all.
What's wrong with men these days?
One more thing. He asked me for my e-mail address and my phone number, but I insisted that I would only give them to him after we had a better mutual understanding. Is that the reason why he doubted me? Am I wrong?

That is exactly what is wrong with the NON BELIEVERS mate...ANYTHING could be wrong with the ladies for them not to give their info to us, and the scaremongers always mention 'NOT REAL', or 'SCAM'.  This annoys me somewhat:huh:

Rob, well said my friend, I totaly agree,These lady's have there own busy lives to run and we would do well to remember that.
Ted, It was from one of the agency websites, but this one is even better then the gzdaniel page.  "Singles Club of China & America" in Guangzhou http://www.xxingclub.com/  Top right of the page is a button to translate it into English. Very interesting to see the other side of the story!
I've just used this link and the said translation button and you get a very slimmed down site. If you use this http://translate.google.cn/translate?hl=zh-CN&sl=zh-CN&tl=en&u=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.xxingclub.com%2F then it gets much more interesting, like it's a completely different web site!

I have written my thread about "On De Fence of EMF's" and have to admit that one downside can lead to seeing ghost in the shadows. Until you actually meet your girl for real it, as many members have stated, is wise to keep our emotions restrained. But the actuall proceses of crafting beautiful love letters requires an emotional investment. Thus a minor precieved set back can revibrate into our soul and dampen our rational side.

I had after 3 months of writing, and just as the agency closed for the weekend, my lady's response to my latest letter. 1/3rd through reading the letter my name had changed to another man's name  . This name was used a few more times before the conclusion when my name ended the letter. That weekend was a very low point and being out of touch for 24 hours played on my imagination. Also that weekend my ex side of the family attendended a social function I had many times gone to, but this time I was excluded. Being all alone in a house feeling emotionaly down: no wonder the silence echoed deep dark thoughts.

I was at a critical moment when the hounds of hell were barking scammed. I often wonder that if this form was availble back then, would my keyboard be tapping tears of despair. This was one time that Maxx's 24 hour rule was a greater hinderance for me. I think his rule becomes golden when it is us deciding to use it, then having it being forced upon us. The POWER of deciding gives us a little sense of control when at a time our emotions might cause the wrong response.

Guys,

Taking offence because she was late and crying scam is wrong.  But when one has issue after issue after issue then there is a point when he has to draw a line and say no more.  Drawing where that line should be is difficult because each relationship and each issue is different.  The sad thing is that it is in general not the woman but the agency that is the cause of the problems and they are messing with two people as evidenced by the site found by Paul.

I have often wondered about how Pinky is and what her thoughts were when I gave up.  I wonder what was told to her.  I wish there was a way to find out.

On a lighter note....

Just finished an important project from the history of the American Railroad System

The photo is of my 1/32 museum scale Berkshire 779 from the New York, Chicago & St.Louis Railroad Co.....the famous "Nickel Plate Road".

The loco is completely to museum scale and is a fully operational steamer with boiler feed pump, operating throttle and reversing, drive wheel lube system ,blow down, cylinder pre-heat , automatic steam oil injectors.............and a whistle !!

It contains 5846 seperate parts and took 10 months to construct.

The Berkshire was the largest, most powerful steamer ever constructed in the USA, and other than the twin engine composite locos was the most powerful single engine in the World. They were made by Lima-Hamilton in Ohio. The 779 was the last of the series built and when she was complete, the Lima-Hamilton Factory was finished building steamers.!!
It had an all up weight of over 350 tons and developed 65,000 lbs of tractive effort....carried 22,000 gallons of water and 22 tons of coal.

THe model weighs in at 84 lbs and is overall 59 inches long. Uses Methanol for fuel...can be coal-fired, but too messy and dangerous in a model of this type.. Boiler pressure operates at 125 psi.

There is not a single piece of plastic...all brass, steel and copper !!!

Nostalgia !!

david

WOW, THAT IS BEAUTIFUL, WHAT A PROJECT, WHAT DETAIL. CONGRADULATIONS !!!
I tried to click on those sites, even though they came up and were in chinese, I tried the english conversion and got the pictures on
the chinese version, but when switched to english, everything was just boxes all over.  How do I cure this?

Rocky

If you liked the Model Berkshire Steam Engine, then you might also like my latest project (photo herewith)

It is a fully functional model helicopter...weighs22 pounds and has a main rotor span of 84 inches

It is powered by a very recent development in the model engineering world...a miniature gas turbine engine...just like the ones used on all commercial and military jets, but of course, much smaller !!!

The engine runs at 123,000 revs/min flat out and idles at 55,000 revs !!

The engine has full authority digital computer management to control and monitor revs, thrust, jet-pipe temp and any "fail-safe situations"

It generates about 30 pounds thrust at max. and there are home-made transfer gearboxes to drive the main rotor head and the tail rotor at 2000 and 6000 revs respectively.

It is a very complex beast and we have just done the first flights, the site, sound and smell are awesome and it is a lot of fun !!)

You're right.  It's a difficult like to draw because it's sometimes such a fragile relationship and we've invested a lot of time and effort and money into it.  It takes a strong man to stand up and say enough is enough, but it's important to be sure and not just overreacting or misjudging.

My god don't drop that thing, the engine alone must have cost a fortune.  Have you flown it?  you must have a computer console just
to operate it. Super excellent !!
By the way, this has nothing to do with china at all, but thought I would ask anyway, with so many professionals out there, someone
has an answer perhaps..

This has to do with flat screen TV's.  Plasma to be exact,  What in heck is the difference between the Hertz value on those tv's.  Some say 750 hz while others are at 150 hz.  Anyone know the answer to this?
